Last September my client ranked for 21 non-branded keywords in the top 3 positions. This September they are ranking for 1,827. After creating a whole new site structure, content, internal linking structure etc etc, we’ve got the site into a much much healthier position going forward. Their YoY traffic from non-branded terms has 19x’d. It’s also 3x’d included branded terms. A previous heavy over-reliance on brand search has now been flipped, with 55% of organic traffic now coming from non-brand search, meaning that is now the majority. This has resulted in just shy of £90k organic revenue uplift (YoY growth) in August alone, which isn’t a peak month either. The work we have conducted also seems to have worked nicely with the latest Google Core Algorithm update, with increased performance since the roll out has been completed. If you are willing to invest in SEO and take your time with it, there is alot of opportunity and money to be made. 3moImpressive results! Another factor to consider is leveraging structured data for featured snippets and enhanced search visibility. Also, investing in optimizing for E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) can drive even more traffic, especially after recent algorithm updates. Curious if you’ve explored that?
