Great time representing Supered⚡ at HubSpot's GROW event yesterday. My top takeaways: - Standing out is powerful. If you want to get noticed, don't be afraid to do something different. Aggressively loud tracksuits are cheaper than booths. - Ask for the meeting. If you've had a great conversation, prospects will naturally say "send me an email" or "let's connect on LinkedIn and speak later", but I've found that if I tell people I'm there to book meetings, most times people are open to getting one on the books - The HubSpot partner community is awesome. So many brilliant people with a genuine desire to lift others up and help. Bonus one on the power of posting on this platform: Impressions are FAR more than likes and comments. I met so many folks yesterday who know about Supered and the content that the team put out. Many of them weren't following me or the company page, or even engaging with the posts. Put content out, and good things will happen.

🌟 Ever wondered what exactly I do at HubSpot? You wouldn’t be the only one! The truth is that every single day is completely different. But let me give you some insight into the role of Partner Readiness, where advocating for our partners is at the core of everything we do! 🚀 My team sits in our Partner Program team under our wonderful leader Angela O'Dowd. We have many roles but a key one is raising the Voice of our partners. We collaborate closely with our incredible partners through platforms like the Partner Advisory Council and Partner Pulse Survey run by Audrey del Rosario where their insights directly influence how we evolve together across various critical areas. But that's just the start—we actively engage with partners through roundtable discussions and one-to-one interviews to truly understand their challenges and aspirations. These insights are invaluable as they steer our continuous efforts to enhance what we do and ensure we're always advocating for our customers by having the best Hubspot partners. Handling challenges is a reality and another key responsibility. Whether it's addressing concerns from partners or customers, maintaining our standards and trust is paramount. Monica Rodriguez navigates these challenges with integrity, upholding our commitment to excellence. Working alongside our Partner Ops team. Beyond being reactive, we are proactive catalysts for change. We drive cross-functional projects aimed at enriching the partner experience, and streamlining processes, and are focused on driving mutual success. We also serve as a reliable resource for our teams, providing strategic insights and support on partner-centric initiatives. One of my favourite things to do, on a personal level, is working with our partners to see around corners, see the opportunities and plan for their future success in our ecosystem. In essence, we are all about championing our partners, listening intently to their feedback, and focusing on initiatives that make a real impact. Together, we're helping shape a dynamic ecosystem for the future. Love these tradeshow takeaway's from Chris van Praag⚡️after he attended HubSpot's recent event. Having a plan and executing is important at these shows. Many of the prospects you see at the shows are already on your companies outreach lists. But the average connect rate is under 10% for cold calls and the average Marketing email campaign gets under a 10% response. Chris is so right, when you're face to face and already talking business, take advantage of it and book a follow-up meeting.

Can you win by being the cheapest option? (AKA playing the race to the bottom) I don't think you can, at least long term. Back at HubSpot I saw it time and time again. A partner going from zero to Platinum or Diamond WICKED fast. They did this via free or cheap onboarding then using HubSpot reps demand to grow their partner status FAST. The funny part is there always seemed to be a new partner that would enter the scene and "steal" their demand. I think there is a time and place for cheap or free onboarding but it cannot be your only strategy or you will go bye bye. More on this later.

HubSpot just made our lives a bit easier! As someone who regularly manages extensive contact lists for my clients, I've often found the process of selecting and modifying large numbers of contacts simultaneously to be a pain. Well, it seems HubSpot has listened to users like us! They've rolled out a new feature that allows you to select all contacts in a list with a single click. This small but significant change is a game-changer for efficiency, letting us move or set contacts as marketing contacts more effortlessly. Previously, you could only select 100 contacts at a time.
