📢 Excited to announce my upcoming talk, "Why Decision Quality is Essential for Resilient Sustainable and Future Ready Energy Supply Chains " at the Society of Decision Professionals (SDP) 30th annual Conference April 16th to April 18th, 2024, in Arlington Virginia. 🤔 Why is Decision Quality important for supply chains? I will cover this more in my talk at the conference, here is a teaser. ✔ High-quality decisions are based on quality information, enabling organizations to understand the environmental impact of their actions and make informed choices. ✔ Supply Chain Sustainability is all about the long term, and decision quality ensures that long-term consequences are considered rather than just short-term gains. ✔ Good decision-making processes help organizations identify, assess, and manage sustainability risks, preventing potential harm to the environment and society. The Society of Decision Professionals (SDP) is a creative and engaging forum to learn from top experts in the field of decision quality. The insights from being a member of SDP can unlock your potential to make winning decisions that drive success, innovation, and sustainability in your field. 🌍 Accelerating Sustainable Transformation in the Accommodation and Built Environment Industry through Technology 🌍 Last week, I had the privilege of joining a dynamic panel at the B For Good Leaders Conference in Amsterdam! 🌟 🚀 Key Takeaways from Our Discussion: 1. Data as a Utility: Just like water and electricity, data is now a fundamental utility in buildings. Harnessing data effectively can drive efficiency and sustainability across the industry. 2. Holistic Technology Deployment: To truly transform, we must rethink how technology is deployed across entire value chains, not just within individual organizations. This comprehensive approach is essential for sustainable progress. 3. Collective Responsibility: Everyone, from tenants to construction companies, has a crucial role in this transformation. The common denominator? The innovative technology we provide to all stakeholders. 🙏 Special Thanks: A heartfelt thank you to our insightful moderator, Guillaume Richard de Vesvrotte, and my fellow panelists, Niko Karstikko and Caterina Dentoni-Litta. Also, a big thank you to Marcello Palazzi for the kind invitation. Together, we are paving the way for a greener, smarter future! 🌱🏢 #Sustainability #TechForGood #GreenBuilding #Innovation #BForGoodLeaders Xavier Rizos Stanislas BOCQUET Aurelie Douard Leo Cerda Delphine Chicheportiche Tanguy Fournier Le Ray Séverin PELLEGRINI Catherine de Vaivre Hammed RAMDANI Sylvain Mahe Chris Chan Yudesh Soobrayan Eugene Yang

CSRD CSRD CSRD ... ah yes, more CSRD! I recently had the pleasure of attending #Produrable, the largest European forum for sustainability actors. If there is one thing that stood out clearly, it was the central role of the #CSRD, which emerged as the absolute protagonist of this year's event. ♻ To put things in perspective, over 60 conferences dedicated to the topic took place in just two days. With the scope of companies affected soon expanding to include SMEs, the demand for CSRD-related services has surged in recent years. 📶 Having worked on it so far mainly for CAC40-listed companies—the first to be impacted—I was surprised to see how many new players are trying to claim their share of this growing market. However, my impression was that many of the attendees were more like competitors sizing each other up than potential clients. 👀 It’s thrilling to witness first-hand such a radical transformation in the sustainability consultancy landscape. Yet, I can’t help but wonder how many of these newcomers will endure in the years ahead or, conversely, be absorbed by larger entities. 🤷♂️ The battle for survival has begun! ⚔
