I help law firm partners with books of business take control of their careers - because successful lawyers deserve to be happy too.

Feeling like you’re behind on starting your business development journey? Don’t worry–you can start right where you are and still achieve Rainmaker success. In our recent Happy Rainmakers video, Randi Rosenblatt, founder and CEO of Upward Stride, shares some practical and actionable tips to kick-start your business development. Here are some tips from our conversation:  • Leverage Your Existing Connections: People tend to work with those they know, like, and trust. Building connections with people from your past can create future opportunities.   • Make Small, Consistent Efforts: Not every business development effort needs to be a 2-hour lunch or a 3-hour dinner. It can be as simple as an introduction, sharing an article, or sharing information. • Use Time-Blocking: When you don’t have a lot of time, use the time-blocking method to park time for business development.  • Set Goals: Set attainable goals that you can follow through on. For example, say your goal is to have two lunches per month. You’ll end up having 24 meetings that you wouldn’t have if you didn’t set that goal. For more insightful strategies to enhance your business development efforts, check out the full Happy Rainmakers video on YouTube. #HappyRainmaker #Rainmakers #LawyerLife #BusinessDevelopment #BizDev #BuildRelationships #Outreach #Success #MondayMotivation #HappyRainmakers ##### Hi, I'm Jen.
