Excited to share my reflections after an incredible journey with the inaugural cohort of PFC (Persian Founders Circle) by Pear VC PFC is a no-brainer for early-stage founders of Persian heritage. This program has been nothing short of transformative—connecting with a brilliant community from Paris to the Bay Area (yes, even at 2-3 AM for me!) has been absolutely worth it. 💻✨ From hands-on workshops to inspiring fireside chats, the Pear VC team goes above and beyond to support founders like us. Huge thanks to the incredible speakers who shared their knowledge and insights: Arash Afrakhteh, Kevin Nazemi, Ash Rust, Kristin Tedford, Ana Levaya, and Mar Hershenson—your contributions were invaluable, and I’m grateful for all that I’ve learned from you. A heartfelt thank you to Matineh Eybpoosh, Arya Bastani, and Farhad Taghibakhsh, PhD from the previous cohort for generously sharing your experiences and wisdom with us. A special shoutout to Pejman Nozad, the visionary founder of Pear VC, for making this program a reality. And a deep gratitude to Roya Soleimani Winner organizing such an impactful experience and to Athena Shiravi for her incredible support throughout the program.
Our latest Pear VC Persian Founder Circle (PFC) event featured our partner, Arash Afrakhteh on the AI landscape, how to scale AI for better ROI, and so much more. At Pear, Arash works closely with founders from day one, and gets into the trenches with them on everything from company building to culture, and helps founders become steady leaders for their teams. As always, thank you to Arash and our slate of speakers for PFC for enriching our community with their expertise and time.
