• I have more than 12 years of experience in progressively more complex roles, working for businesses ranging from large, national organizations to small, local companies.
• I don't mean to brag, but this is an #openforwork post, so yes, I do. I have successfully established and implemented all accounting, payroll, and human resource policies, procedures, protections, and management for a small but rapidly growing company. This led to having an organized, well-oiled, people first outlook that was missing, and sorely needed. It also led to the collection of overdue invoices totaling more than $250k! That’s a quarter of a million dollars that was just floating in the ether, folks!
• I have worked extremely hard, being consistently promoted from an Accounting Temp to Assistant Controller, and eventually Agency Performance Manager at a multi-million-dollar national marketing agency,
• During my tenure in the Finance dept., I oversaw all incoming and outgoing funds, ensured accurate payroll processing, and managed the accounting team, as well as all facets of the department.
• I conceptualized and collaborated with the dev team to create custom in-house reporting systems, allowing employees of all levels to improve efficiency with fast and easy access to data.
• I’m funny! No, really! Not just math nerd funny, either. Honestly, that should probably be the top bullet point on my resume, considering how unfunny people tend to think Finance and HR folks are.
What am I looking for? Excellent question.
• A senior manager or director level role in HR, Payroll, or Finance where I can put my experience in people, money, and process management to work.
• A remote position; I’m open to looking at companies nationwide!
