Coming back to our exploration of the four knowledge domains to watch for in a candidate, we're looking at number 3: Application Knowledge. That doesn't mean how they apply their knowledge, though. We literally mean their knowledge of the applications you expect them to work with, like AR, AP, Inventory, PM, Payroll, HR, etc. Since these operate pretty similarly across industries, it's an easy ask of anyone to know. The learning curve is minimal, making this domain a bit of a "gimme". Still, if there's a gap and they don't know how to work with what you're using, the red flag goes up! #recruiting #staffing #hiring
