We’re back after summer and diving straight into the fascinating world of Behavioral Design! Here are 3 reads that we recommend if you want to dive (deeper) into this topic. "The Art of Designing Behaviour" by Astrid Groenewegen Focuses on how to craft impactful interventions using psychological insights. It's all about the art of driving real-world change. "Start at the End" by Matt Wallaert Takes a practical approach, urging us to reverse-engineer behavior by defining desired outcomes first. Perfect for those who love structured processes. "Choice Hacking" by Jen Clinehens Explores how behavioral science and design thinking shape decisions, especially in customer experience and marketing. All three offer powerful insights, but while Groenewegen emphasizes creativity, Wallaert is more methodical, and Clinehens bridges both by focusing on customer decision-making. Do you have any other great Behavioral Design reads you want to share? #BehavioralDesign #CX #CXUnraveled #Psychology

Working on some journey mapping today for a landing page personalization strategy. As marketers we often think about individual sessions for web visitors and hope that they're ready to take and action and "convert." But behavioral science tells us that people need time to evaluate the emotional and cognitive sides of a decision before they're ready to act. How can you rethink your landing page experience to support patients as they move through this journey? #hcmktg #journeymapping #personalization

Over the years, I’ve read my fair share of books on behavioral psychology but trying to remember everything from the books is a whole other ball game. So I decided to simplify things! When it comes to tech product design, understanding user behaviour isn’t just helpful - it is critical! In this 3-part series, I will dive into ten psychological principles that are must haves in building successful products. Let me know if this helped guys! These aren't just theoretical concepts—they’re practical tools that can drive user engagement, boost adoption, and ultimately lead to product success. Let's start by examining how users make decisions. We need to recognize the psychology behind user decisions to craft experiences that resonate. Here are four key principles: 1️⃣ Cashless Effect 2️⃣ Sunk Cost Fallacy 3️⃣ Peak-end Bias 4️⃣ Choice Paradox Leveraging these concepts really helps us not only attract users but keep them engaged long-term. Hope this was helpful! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. #BehaviouralScience #Marketingforeveryone

“It’s important to understand that it’s not just about building a growth product in a funnel; it’s about how your customers feel and how to nudge them to get them to where you want them to be. You want to optimize this so there’s cognitive clarity all the way through and you’re taking advantage of how humans behave.” I recently had a very informative and fun conversation with Oji Udezue of ProductMind about product-led growth and user psychology. Oji talked about creating customized experiences for each customer through personalization and shared some lessons learned through A/B testing. He encouraged thinking about testing as a response to risk and uncertainty, “...when you’re certain (from discovery), just build something.” #ProductLeadership #ProductLedGrowth Link in the 1st comment 👇

Week 2 of my video series on Bridging Intention to Impact! This week I cover why the assumption that usage equate to a successful product leaves many teams astray. Instead product teams should focus on how their features are changing specific behaviors that lead to a positive impact on user outcomes. I share a news media case study that I explore in the book to illustrate the different outcomes that companies faced based on whether they focused just on usage or outcomes overall. #booklaunch #metrics #productdevelopment #product #videoseries
