How to process waste: reduce, reuse, and recycle. #ReduceWaste #Reuse #Recycle #Sustainability #GoGreen Reduce, reuse, and recycle are the three most important ways to process waste. By following these steps, we can help to conserve resources and protect the environment. Reduce: Reduce the amount of waste you generate by buying only what you need, avoiding single-use items, and choosing products with minimal packaging. Reuse: Reuse items whenever possible. This could involve using a refillable water bottle, bringing your shopping bags, or donating old clothes to charity. Recycle: Recycle items that cannot be reused. This includes paper, plastic, metal, and glass. Check with your local recycling center to find out what materials they accept.

Last year, a massive 1.76 million metric tons of waste for landfill was collected in England.* Bringing this figure down takes a collective effort. However, as Lighthouse Security are based in England but with a global reach, and with sustainability as a priority, we are going the extra mile to ensure that no waste goes to landfill. So, what happens to these items instead? 👉 Metals are shredded, sorted and recycled. 👉 Plastic is shredded and returned to industry manufacturers to be reused and turned into a variety of products including plant pots and garden furniture. 👉 Textiles are repurposed then donated to our charity partners where possible, or shredded and then spun into recycled yarn. We provide one solution, one location, ZERO to landfill ♻️ If you are looking for the secure storage and removal of items, we provide a full chain of custody for your items. Most importantly, we ensure that no waste ends up in landfills. ♻️ 💧🫴🏻💲Recycle your water bottles and donate the money that you can make out of recycling to those who really need it! 🪣 💧Firstly, make sure to put the plastic bottles in your blue bin; water bottles labelled with an RIC of « 1 » or « 2 » are generally recyclable. To make sure your plastic is actually recycled, don't put plastics in your bin unless they're labeled with a « 1 » or « 2 ». 🧼 🧽 💧Secondly, make sure you empty and rinse your bottles before you put them in the bin. 👨⚖️🏷️ 🚫Lastly, it is important to know the rules of your local center. For example, some centers want the lids off and even labels, so that's important to understand. 🧮❓How many plastic do you need to make 100$ and donate to people who really need it? Let us do a quick math, If you can earn between five and ten cents per bottle, to make say, $100, you will need around 1000 bottles to get recycled. 🛟 💧🚰Let us help to create a better life for those who need it ! #creative #growth #humanity #art 💓

"Most often, when a decision to reduce your belongings occurs, it will involve one of these words: - Reuse 🔰 Give new useful life to an old item such as small boxes to organize drawers. - Recycle ♻️ Recycle old paper, plastic, and metals. - Refuse ❌ Do not take the free stuff that people give if you cannot see yourself using it. It turns into your clutter! - Repair 🛠 If your item can get life by repairing it, get it on the list to do. Think about whether you will really use it. - Reduce 📉 Don’t buy more than what you can really effectively use, even if it is a good deal. - Re-gift 🎁 Can something you’re holding onto be re-gifted if you are not going to use it? Can it be donated and be a gift to someone else? Which is your favorite word to follow above?" #thesustainableorganizer #professionalorganizer #professionalorganizing #productivityservices #residentialorganizing #homeeditorganizing #organizedhome #organizedlife #organizeyourlife #organizedmom #organizedliving #personalorganizer #getorganized #homeorganizer #gettingorganized #stayorganized #organizemylife #organizeyourhome #homeorganization #boston #bostonsuburbs #bostonbusinesswomen #sustainableorganizer #sustainability #sustainableliving #sustainablelifestyle #sustainablehome #sustainablelife
