Had a fascinating experience today during a soft skills session at Knowledge Streams ! Each of us shared a personal mantra, and then things got interesting. Everyone else had the chance to challenge it. The real test? Defending your belief with solid reasoning and composure. What stood out the most was the teamwork involved. It wasn’t just about debating; it was about collectively creating a space for open dialogue, where different perspectives were respected and challenged. I learned how crucial it is to not only stand by your values but also to grow through collaboration with others. A great reminder that personal growth and teamwork go hand in hand when you step outside your comfort zone. #SoftSkills #CriticalThinking #Teamwork #Mantra #Communication

You’re in a high-stakes meeting, and suddenly, you freeze... You know the answer, but.. the right words just won't come out in English. It’s a common struggle for many professionals. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬, 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭. Even native speakers learned through constant practice. Over time, by exposing yourself to new situations and challenges, your #EnglishFluency will improve. Don’t chase p̳e̳r̳f̳e̳c̳t̳i̳o̳n̳, chase 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬. Each conversation you engage in is one step closer to mastering your communication. #GrowthMindset #PracticeMakesProgress #ProfessionalDevelopment #MindfulEnglishHub #BusinessEnglish #SpokenEnglish #Communication #Motivation #Leadership #PersonalGrowth #PersonalDevelopment #SpeakingEnglish #EnglishCommunity

How did a classic book help me achieve these results? 🎖️ My mentee, who had no intention of becoming one, was promoted to Junior Sales Team Lead this week. 🎖️ A team member overcame her fear of pitching to SEA clients today, despite having been in the Vietnamese market for 4 years. Dale Carnegie taught me lots of thing but just four words summarize the journey: Caring, Compliments, Empowerment, and Encouragement. #ProfessionalDevelopment #LeadershipSkills #SuccessStories

⭐ TEAMWORK SKILL ⭐ *Forbes Advisor lists TEAMWORK as the third of the 11 essential skills companies value the most: 03. Teamwork "There are two kinds of people: those who played team sports growing up and those who have 'jobs where I don't have to talk to anyone' in their search history. Teamwork doesn't come naturally to everyone".¹ In a professional setting, teamwork implies group confidence and creativity because it encourages members to share ideas, brainstorm solutions, and collaborate on new initiatives. And, of course, on a consistent basis, effective teamwork allows team members to problem solve. Some examples of teamwork skills: - Conflict resolution - Mediation - Accountability - Collaboration ¹ Zapier, February 2024 #businessenglish #professionalenglish #businessenglishclasses #englishclasses #corporateenglish #softskills
