Unparalleled Engagement at CECC May Madness 2024! The Collegiate Esports Commissioner's Cup May Madness 2024 was an overwhelming success, and at Integrated Content Agency, we are thrilled to celebrate this achievement. Partnering with Collegiate Sports Management Group, we executed a multifaceted media strategy that not only highlighted the event but also brought significant engagement across various IRL and digital activations on Twitch. Saturday started with JinnyTTY's IRL stream from the Arena, which brought the event to life by engaging with brands and giving her community a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible event. During the finals on Sunday, ICA curated an intentional lineup of co-streamers who each brought their unique style and deep knowledge of the games they covered. Each co-streamer played a pivotal role in enhancing viewer experience and retention: • HungryBox: a legend in the Super Smash Bros community, brought his expertise and excitement to the Smash competitions. • TenacityTV: took the helm for Rocket League, offering insightful commentary that resonated well with their enthusiastic Rocket League audience. • QuarterJade: provided top-notch Valorant action, captivating viewers with strategic breakdowns and energetic interactions. • Flats: covered Overwatch 2, engaging fans with his deep understanding of the game strategy and its top players. Impressive By The Numbers: - The event attracted over 4 million digital views with nearly 2 million VOD views. - Social media engagements were robust with 1.3 million impressions and a physical attendance of over 4,000 fans. - The digital impact was measurable with 45.5 million impressions at a 30-second ad view equivalent and a staggering 683 million impressions at a 2-second ad view equivalent, demonstrating the immense reach and enthusiasm for the event. This year’s CECC not only showcased the top talent across colleges but also set a new standard for how esports events can integrate seamlessly with digital content strategies to enhance both viewer engagement and brand value to sponsors and partners: McDonald's, Smoothie King (SKFI), US Army, State Farm, Cirkul, Zipchair Gaming, Red Bull, Cisco, Six Flags Over Texas.
