💡INFOCOM LTD offers a mobile and practical solution for the coordination of ship and port networks. Such a system will save the ship's own energy resources and be connected to a cheaper coastal power supply system. ❓ How does it work? Container installation for connection to shore power supply can be placed on board. Own mobile installation of shore connection allows using shore electricity in ports of different countries with different voltage standards, without using own energy sources (which is also more environmentally friendly, because it reduces the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere). ✅ Main advantages of the coastal control system: 🔹 Data for consumption accounting 🔹 Downtime optimization 🔹 Safety for crew and equipment 🔹 Independence from port systems 🔹 Stable power supply from the shore 🔹 Saving own energy resources 👉 To order the coastal control system, contact the specialists of «INFOCOM LTD». 💻 https://infocom-ltd.sk/ ✉️ [email protected] 📞 +421 2333 25787

2/3 of all grid faults in Europe are phase to ground. These are difficult and time consuming to locate by using conventional methods.
With Safegrid’s Intelligent Grid System®, Tunturiverkko / Inergia Oy was able to accurately locate earth faults and the field patrol’s fault search time was reduced about an hour from the average. Tunturiverkko is the northernmost electricity grid company in Finland with over 2000 kilometers of grid length. It operates in over 7% of Finland’s land area in the Arctic conditions of Northern Lapland. The business wanted to accurately locate short circuits and earth faults in the 20kV distribution grid for quick fault isolation action and location of the fault origin. #smartgrid #Safegrid #IntelligentGridSystem® #Tunturiverkko https://lnkd.in/gsKeYftR

🔌 Undersea Cables Break Like Carrots 🥕 Here’s What We Can Do 💡 Last week, undersea cables in the Baltic Sea were damaged, possibly due to sabotage. As our dependence on global communication and energy supply has never been greater, it is crucial to understand the cables' vulnerability. This understanding is a prerequisite for our ability to protect them better. Here's what we can do according to Claus Leth Bak, professor of electrical energy technology at Aalborg University: 👉 Increase monitoring and protection of our undersea cables. 👉 Strengthen cooperation between authorities and private actors to ensure a quick response to damages. 👉 Invest in technology and infrastructure that can minimize the risk of cable breaks. As Claus Leth Bak points out to DR - Danmarks Radio, the cables are today incredibly easy to destroy and easy to find. “For an anchor on a tanker, it is as easy as snapping a carrot”, he explains. It's not just a technical challenge - it's a national security risk. While we can handle a single broken data cable, multiple broken cables could potentially disconnect Denmark from the rest of the world.
