Today, NASEO - National Association of State Energy Officials, in partnership with AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials), Atlas Public Policy, and the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation, launched the NEVI Awards Dashboard. The NEVI Awards Dashboard tracks electric vehicle (EV) charging sites funded by states through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program. The Dashboard also showcases key data regarding progress states have made in implementing the NEVI program, including which states have issued solicitations for sites, announced awards, opened stations, and/or achieved "fully built out" status. To date, 42 states have issued at least one solicitation (with some states having issued several), 36 states have issued awards, and 11 states have at least one operational station open to the public. "The work State Energy Offices, State Departments of Transportation, and their private-sector partners have put in over the past three years – building on EV infrastructure programs in place for a decade – is paying off," said NASEO President, David Terry. These numbers are growing each week, so users are encouraged to check the Dashboard regularly for the latest NEVI data. https://lnkd.in/eU9QvqAy

Webinar: Advancing a CO2 Transport Network in the United States on November 7, 2024, 2:00 - 3:00 PM ET. Please join NASEO, the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management | U.S. Department of Energy, the Great Plains Institute, and ExxonMobil for a virtual discussion on CO2 transport and considerations for State Energy Offices next week. As CCUS technology gets deployed across the country, the need for a more robust transport network will be needed to bring captured CO2 to end-users and sequestration sites. Pipeline development in the United States is currently hampered by a number of factors related to the regulatory landscape, community and landowner concern, and cost. This webinar will explore some of these considerations and provide State Energy Offices with expert information from industry, NGOs, and state officials involved in the process.
Welcome! You are invited to join a webinar: NASEO Webinar: Advancing a CO2 Transport Network in the United States. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the webinar.

On July 24, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) selected 20 projects across 16 states to receive up to $371 million in the first round of the Transmission Siting and Economic Development (TSED) grant program. This funding will empower states and communities to invest in grid infrastructure and economic development. However, many local and state governments still face significant challenges when applying for competitive federal grants—often struggling with limited resources or overwhelmed by the complex process. Join us on November 14 at 12 p.m. CT for our upcoming webinar, where you’ll hear from some of DOE’s award-winning projects and discover strategies to overcome grant barriers. You’ll also learn how GPI is collaborating with applicants across the country and how we can support you in developing strong project ideas, crafting compelling applications, and securing funding to help your community thrive.
