Empowered by the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) at JECRC University I recently had the privilege of joining an inspiring EDP session led by Aniket Thacker Sir and organized by the JECRC Incubation Centre. I had the opportunity to attend the Indian Business Conference organized by Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. This was an assembly of visionary ideas and pioneering innovations that are shaping the business world of tomorrow. Laxman Narasimhan, CEO of Starbucks, kicked off the conference with his deep dive into the art of harmonizing local presence with global reach. Niren Chaudhary, Chairman of Panera Brands, complemented this by unpacking corporate strategies for deeper market penetration and focusing on the need to persevere through each challenge. This was moderated by Mohanbir Sawhney. The entrepreneurial spirit was further fueled by Rashmi Gopinath of B Capital Group and Sumant Mandal of March Capital, who emphasized the importance of overcoming barriers for Indian entrepreneurs. Their insights were enhanced by the practical experiences shared by Kanwal Rekhi and Amarpreet Sawhney, illustrating the journey of innovation in action. This was moderated by Birju Shah. Anand Kumar, revered for his Super 30 initiative, highlighted the transformative power of equitable education, advocating for its pivotal role in societal development.
