Youngest Salesforce MVP (2019) | CEO - Cyntexa, S2 Labs | Entrepreneur | Speaker | Creator

No one took me seriously because I was too young…. I trained students in Salesforce when I was 19 and started Cyntexa at 23. The number one challenge that I faced initially was my age. There was a pushback from the customers because they thought I wasn't old enough to be their consultant. When they used to get on calls or even meet me in person, they were like, "He's a kid" "Are you sure he's going to do it?" It was not easy to convince them, but that didn't demotivate me. In fact, I was excited to have the opportunity to meet these people. I am a salesman by heart, so I took it as a challenge to prove why I'm worth their time and why they should give me a chance. I enjoyed communicating with them and being transparent with my vision for Cyntexa. Those conversations built the trust irrespective of age. And after some time, my age turned out to be an advantage. Very soon the initial critics became the storytellers of my story and that really helped me build trust with more and more people. Not everyone will believe in you from the beginning until they really really know you. (And very few rarely get to know you!) So, instead of taking this as a setback, use it as an opportunity to build yourself stronger irrespective of the odds!

I agree, being young can be a challenge, but it must have also been a huge source of self-motivation. At such a young age, like 19, you were already training others in Salesforce, while many were just starting college. It's amazing that you recognized this as an opportunity and achieved so much early on. There's still so much more ahead for you! I wish you all the best 👍
