ICYMI: Last month, FEMA announced an addition of 275 census tracts to the Community Disaster Resilience Zone #CDRZ designations! These new designations are primarily located in Tribal Nations and U.S. territories 📍. These zones, along with the first 483 CDRZ designations announced last year, were identified with a natural hazard risk assessment as an area that is at high risk for the effects of natural hazards. By identifying high-risk zones, FEMA is helping localize efforts for financial and technical assistance and drive resilience projects in the area to reduce the impact of climate change and other hazards.
