ICYMI: Last month, FEMA announced an addition of 275 census tracts to the Community Disaster Resilience Zone #CDRZ designations! These new designations are primarily located in Tribal Nations and U.S. territories 📍. These zones, along with the first 483 CDRZ designations announced last year, were identified with a natural hazard risk assessment as an area that is at high risk for the effects of natural hazards. By identifying high-risk zones, FEMA is helping localize efforts for financial and technical assistance and drive resilience projects in the area to reduce the impact of climate change and other hazards. Learn more about CDRZ here: https://lnkd.in/grSBqVCH #FEMA #DisasterResilience #CommunityResilience
