INTERNATIONAL NEWS: Switzerland takes another step towards digital ID 🇨🇭 Switzerland is moving closer to launching its national digital ID, with the Council of States recently approving the legal framework for the project. The E-ID Act still needs final approval from the National Council, especially on data protection and cybersecurity concerns, which have been major hurdles in the past. Unlike a previous plan rejected by voters, the new system will be government-controlled, giving users more control over their data.
