I had this whole post planned today And now it's kind of late But this TikTok x Amazon partnership got me thinking... With the integration, Shoppers will see product recommendations in a "For You" tab, allowing them to make a purchase without leaving the platform—as long as they connect their accounts. Another application of social commerce for traditional advertisements. But what about Creators? Imagine if your Amazon Creator Storefront seamlessly integrated with TikTok, and the only limit was your acceptance into Amazon's affiliate program. Creators could sell directly to their audience in the meaningful ways they’re already doing with shoppable videos that include direct links to affiliate products they curate. A shop tab could also be added to the profile with the same products from your storefront. Here’s how I’d aim to hit $10k/month on TikTok Shop if I were starting today - Offer up to 50% Commission to Affiliates — Make it incredibly attractive for them to promote our products. - Hefty Discounts of 30% and above. Kick off with lots of flash sales to draw in buyers. - Create a Content Flood of at least 20+ Posts Daily; both of our own and affiliate content to keep the feed buzzing. - Immediate Ad Launch and Especially, the GMV Max — Run ads right away to sell the first 50 units and prove there’s market demand. Well — now, might say this isn't realistic, but I’d rather take some risks for now rather than waste time figuring out the platform later. I believe in getting the momentum going faster. Once you reach that initial push, things only accelerate. Many DTC brands hesitate, but on the other hand, Amazon brands are willing to take this bet. Let’s be bold, take some calculated risks, and get the flywheel spinning. The potential returns are worth it. And literally, it’s the exact same blueprint to hit the first $50k and even $100k a month on TikTok Shop.

Thinking of starting TikTok Shop or at early stages struggling to see growth? We’ve been there…. Here’s 4 pieces of advice for anyone struggling with TikTok shop 👇🏻 1️⃣ Focus on one product In order to make TikTok shops work, put all your efforts into scaling one product… At the end of the day, more content = more GMV If you spread all your content across multiple products, it’ll take a lot longer to hit the ground running. However, it can’t just be any product. Make sure the product you choose has a virality factor In other words… a wow factor. Something that is fun, different, mind blowing. All the top products have this. 2️⃣ Patience is King Unfortunately, it takes time to gain traction. It took us 6 months to finally see the results we wanted. There are many times we thought of giving up on a product because nothing was hitting. Until it did. Now that product is generating us 6 figures a month profitably. Stay stubborn, you’ll be thankful you did. 3️⃣ Don’t Neglect Product Card 12% of sales on our hero product come from product card. That’s 12% of sales we don’t need to pay hefty commissions on. You may be tempted to put all your effort and time into affiliates and content. But make sure to give your product card some love. Try and optimize it anyway you can. It’s not going to make the same impact as optimizing a listing on Amazon… but it’s a low effort activity than can make a solid difference. 4️⃣ Leverage your Brand Page Don’t forget to post shoppable content on your brand page. This is especially helpful if you are just starting out and want to validate your product or angle. The beauty of this is you don’t have to pay commission on these sales. Our first viral video was on our brand page. Once we saw that validation, we invested more heavily into affiliate content. 💡 Final Takeaway: TikTok Shop has massive potential, but it’s not a “set it and forget it” platform. It requires patience, consistency, and a willingness to adapt. Focus on perfecting one product, optimize every part of your strategy, and let the data guide your next moves. 📉 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗧𝗼𝗸 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗦𝗣𝗦 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝟰.𝟱! Here’s a lesson I learned the hard way: keeping your Shop Performance Score (SPS) high is essential. Let me break it down: 🔻 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱? My client's store was thriving—$2k-$3k in daily sales. Ads were converting like wildfire, and affiliate videos were going viral. Then, it all came crashing down: 1️⃣ A customer claimed their package was stolen. TikTok refunded them, but it counted as a return on my SPS. 2️⃣ 10 customers said USPS never delivered their orders, even though TikTok reimbursed me, those refunds hit my SPS too. 3️⃣ Two 1-star reviews came in due to 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿—even after customers updated to 5 stars, TikTok only counts the first rating. My SPS dropped from 𝟰.𝟲 𝘁𝗼 𝟯.𝟱... 🔻 The Impact: The day before my SPS dropped: $2800 in sales. The next day: $100 in sales. Ads stopped converting, my product disappeared from search, and affiliate videos tanked. 😓 Lesson Learned? Once your SPS drops, it's SO hard to bring it back up. And TikTok's claim that "improving your SPS can increase traffic, sales, and visibility by 40%" is no joke.
