Since joining RangeMe a few years ago, 8 Track Foods has landed deals with Whole Foods Market, Meijer and several independent grocers and is now in more than 2,000 stores nationwide. Here's why: Founder Maggie Sadowsky knows how to get the most out of the platform. She keeps her profile complete and up to date, making sure that the keywords and certifications relevant to buyers are included to ensure she turns up in searches. In addition, as a Premium subscriber, she actively participates in all retail campaigns that are relevant for her category. "A lot of people think that RangeMe is a one-stop shop and they will get a bunch of buyers coming to them right away," says Sadowsky. "That’s part of it, but it’s really more of a tool to access buyers. There are these active campaigns that come through, such as buyers looking for women-owned or locally grown brands, and those are very powerful. The Meijer deal, for example, came from a submission we made via RangeMe to the Meijer Localization Summit, which got us into 250 stores.” Learn more about 8 Track Foods and some of the reasons behind its success in our latest blog post below! #smallbusiness #sustainability #organic #cpgindustry #food #ecrmrangeme

🌱📉 What’s Happening with Plant-Based Meat and Seafood? The plant-based meat and seafood market has seen a significant drop in sales, despite being part of an $8.1 billion industry. Why? Prices have soared, and not everyone is sold on the taste compared to regular meat. More consumers are also realizing that although these options are "plant-based," they are still processed foods. With more choices available, people expect better quality and lower prices. Yet, there's a silver lining! Younger folks, especially those between 16 and 40, are interested in eating more plant-based foods. If these products can improve in taste and become more affordable, there's a huge opportunity for growth. 🤔 What do you think? Have you noticed these changes in your shopping? How can plant-based brands innovate to overcome these challenges? 📢 Comment 'CPG' to chat more about this! #PlantBased #FoodTrends #CPG #Sustainability #Innovation —- My name is Justin E. Fascinating #branding case: Impossible Foods just unveiled a new, very decisive main brand color. It is... (drumroll) ... meaty RED 🥩 Seeing how the #altprotein sector has been under fire for quite some time now, it's really interesting to see Impossible going all-in with the deliciousness and meaty "heritage" their product has historically leaned on — they famously premiered the plant-burger "that bleeds", after all. But with the industry in a bit of a PR-crisis, this is an interesting and bold move — especially compared to the "health leadership"-route that Beyond Meat has chosen with their latest product update (and a very green packaging design). While Beyond is leaning into the "all plants"-world more to mirror their wildly improved ingredients lists, Impossible's seems to zag and use the very opposite strategy, leaning into what makes meat lovers love meat: Taste over health. Taste over ethics. Taste over reason. A good write up and a first glance into the new packaging design in the report below. Oh boy, I love this kinda stuff. #verygoodlooking #creativeagency #brandingdesign #packagingdesign
Impossible Foods has always claimed to bleed red, now its label will
