SOUND TRIBE: Here's my favorite trick when crafting interesting sound design... I call it "Passing the Baton"... I want every sound to have its clear and distinct moment, and then quickly "Pass the Baton" to another sound which then gets its brief moment of fame. This approach allows the sonic story to constantly evolve and change over time, as well as attracting the listener's ear the most important sonic elements at every given moment. The result? Your sound design will be much cleaner and much more interesting.
