Yaar ek baat yaad aai. Socha bata doon. Purani baat hai lekin zaroori hai. Once upon a time, one of my boss asked his sales team to keep the location enabled on their phones. Do you know why? He wanted to know the location of his sales team whenever they were on the field. Basically, he wanted to keep an eye on his sales team while the team was on the field and he was sitting inside an AC room. That day I could not tell him that his approach was wrong. Today, I think I am at the capacity to tell him that BOSS is not always right. If you cannot trust your team, then there is no way you can have a team which would go the extra mile for you. By policing them you demotivate them the most. As a leader, your responsibility is not to make your team run on fields like animals. Your role is to motivate them and lead them.
