Huge congratulations to Laura Mitchell who won the Rising Star (Provider) award at the COVER Magazine Excellence Awards last night. It was amazing to see her recognised for all her brilliant hard work. Thoroughly well deserved Laura! And we're over the moon to win the Outstanding Life Protection Award. We think our Life Protection really offers something different to the market - and the fact we paid 100% of our life and terminal illness claims in 2023 shows that. We're pleased that we could be there for all those customers when they needed us - and this award is the icing on the cake!

Happy end of the month! It's only 22:49 but I'm impressed we've managed to wrap up the final figures already! How has everyone's month been? It's been a challenging one for us overall. I'm not one to sugarcoat things; I'm pretty transparent about how things are going in our business. However, I want to express my gratitude to every single member of our team for seizing every opportunity that came our way this month, resulting in a fairly positive outcome. Stepping back from the chaos we've experienced over the past few years has actually been a significant positive experience for all of us. We've made changes across various aspects of our operations as mentioned in my previous posts—from sales to quality control, estimates, key to key times, staffing, site maintenance, utility reviews, and procedural updates—that will only enhance and fortify our business now that we're seeing numbers return to a more 'normal' state. I'm more than grateful for the multiple contracts we hold; hearing some unfortunate stories from single-contract sites makes me appreciate our position, and I hope they're also seeing an uptake in referrals. Let's keep talking, and if anyone wants to share their experiences—whether good or bad—we're here to listen share and learn. Looking at the due in report I think we are over the worst part now so hopefully back to normal from May. I will however will be happy to talk to any lease, fleet, direct insurers or accident management companies to see how we can assist your business. With the acquisition of our 4th site in Nuneaton (perfectly on target for 10-12 in the next 3 years) we do have additional capacity so would love to talk to talk to you! I wish you all the best of luck for May! #ExpressBodyworks #yourinsurancepartner

I finally received the call!!! After 5.5 months of having a vehicle in the shop, it was ready to return home! Let me preface this by saying, the absence of this vehicle has strained many aspects of my family’s day-to-day life, including rentals along the way. HOWEVER, I believe there is a lesson in every day and in every situation we face as humans. What was my lesson? Was it patience? No. — I learned patience as a young child knowing that eventually there would be another meal even if the fridge and pantry was bare. Was it to persevere to get the job done? No. — I learned perseverance as a teenager who recognized that it was my responsibility to make myself into someone I would be proud to know. That meant persevering through the life I was given and making a life for the family I hoped to have one day. Was it resiliency in dealing with the auto shop and the warranty company? No. — I learned throughout my life that I am only in control of myself. The auto shop and the warranty company are only in control of themselves, and processes take time. So, what did I learn? When I walked in to pay my deductible, the Service Manager assigned to my case since Day 1 said, “Oh no, I got that covered for you. Here’s your key.” I learned that my ability to create a human connection and build relationships goes FAR BEYOND my career in Healthcare and Medical Affairs. Our weekly texts and bi-monthly phone calls built a relationship in which she knew her worth and understood my appreciation for her role in this situation. I did not expect to walk out of this experience without a financial hit, but I am pleased to know I’ve driven out of it with a new friend and connection. #neverunderestimateaconnection #healthcare #medicalaffairs #humanity

Since it is Life Insurance Awareness Month, here are the Top 10 reasons why you Don't need life insurance (They are tongue and cheek). Contact me and lets set up a free consultation. https://bit.ly/4gqjBon 10. Who Needs Security?: Why bother with life insurance when you can live on the edge and trust that everything will magically work out? It's not like unexpected events ever happen. 9. Future Generations Are Overrated: Why leave anything behind for your family? They can totally handle everything on their own. Who needs a financial safety net? 8. Debt is the New Trend: Embrace your debts! Nothing says “living the dream” like leaving a mountain of bills for your loved ones. It’s like a legacy, but with more stress. 7. Emergency Funds Are for Suckers: Who needs savings when you can just hope for the best? It’s not like emergencies are a real thing, right? 6. Supernatural Powers: You’ve got it all under control, and even if you don’t, surely your guardian angel has a plan. Forget practical solutions; divine intervention is so much more reliable. 5. Medical Bills are for Fun: Who cares about medical expenses? Hospitals are such a blast and totally free of financial strain. It’s like a party you didn’t know you wanted! 4 Your Family Loves Financial Strain: Your family will absolutely appreciate the surprise of having to cover all your final expenses. It’s like giving them a gift they didn’t ask for. 3. Life Insurance is a Scam: Obviously, it’s just a big conspiracy cooked up by insurance companies to make sure you don’t spend all your money on lattes and avocado toast. 2. YOLO, Right?: You only live once, so why spend it worrying about the future? Live in the moment and let tomorrow sort itself out. Risk is your middle name. 1. You aren't going to die. Of course, these are all tongue-in-cheek! Life insurance can be an important tool to build wealth. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐊𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐜𝐡 𝐇𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮 💔 The thing that sometimes even fascinates me about myself is my resilience. Shit can hit the fan, and I still manage to stand up again. And again. And again. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐨 When I had to hand over Kuchentratsch, the business that meant the world to me, I broke into a thousand pieces. 💔 Somehow, I managed to navigate the process of letting go (still in the process to be honest), starting (and about to finish) my Executive MBA at Oxford University 🎓, working as an employee for one of the best agencies 💼, and writing a book 📖. From the outside, it may look incredibly smooth. But there is also the other side (a huge side) of the coin 🪙 of being a founder and leaving the business you built with sweat and tears. It deeply hurts and has been, by far, the hardest journey I’ve been on. 😔 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈’𝐦 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬?! Even though it scares the shit out of me 🫣 to make myself vulnerable by sharing this, sometimes we miss that part of the journey out there in the world. We hide it from others and sometimes even from ourselves. 🤐😵💫 𝐈𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 👴 🚗 🍰 Yesterday was the funeral of one of the most amazing human beings I had the privilege to meet and work with at Kuchentratsch. He is a testament to what an outstanding person you can be by living with curiosity, a charm that makes everyone fall for you, and not getting tired of trying new things. At the age of 85, he started as our cake delivery driver 🚚 and worked until he was 91 for Kuchentratsch. That still makes me smile so much. 😊 Forever, I will be in awe. Thank you, Richard. 💛 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 Life is a journey, and everything passes. There is no forever. With anything. Keep the moments sacred. They are golden nuggets for life. ✨💛
