The #SOREC2_EU team gathered at ICFO for the second consortium general meeting on May 8th and 9th, marking a halfway point for the initiative. Two days dedicated to intensive discussions and strategic planning , reflecting on the significant progress made over the first 18 months of the project. With each meeting, the consortium is strengthening partnerships and advances toward its goal of developing a new technology to directly convert CO2 and sunlight into value-added products. We are collaborating with CAISR (by Högskolan i Halmstad) and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden intending to leverage data-based digital twins to promote sustainability in commercial marine operations.   By combining the strengths of various stakeholders in the market, we can effectively work towards a more sustainable future. In addition to CAISR and RISE, we are partnering with Trafikverket, Quokka AB, Erik Thun Group, Stena Line, and Profjord AB.
