Institute of Mineral Engineering / Institut für Gesteinshüttenkunde (GHI) - RWTH Aachen University’s Post

🌍 A Glimpse into the ZeroCO2Glas Project We are excited to share this insightful video from our partners at Horn Glass Industries AG, featuring the latest developments in the ZeroCO2Glas project. This collaboration among RWTH Aachen (Institute of Mineral Engineering / Institut für Gesteinshüttenkunde (GHI) - RWTH Aachen University and RWTH Aachen University, Department for Industrial Furnaces and Heat Engineering), Wiegand-Glas Unternehmensgruppe, International Partners in Glass Research (IPGR) e.V., and Horn Glass Industries showcases our collective efforts in pioneering emission-free glass melting. 🏭🎥 As highlighted in the video, the project team is making great strides in building the hydrogen stations for our test furnace right here in Aachen. This initiative is set to transform the glass industry, making it more sustainable and significantly reducing the CO2 footprint. 🌱 The dedication and expertise of the project team are driving this project forward. We appreciate their hard work and are enthusiastic about the ongoing progress. 🤝 #RWTH #GHI #ZeroCO2 #Sustainability #Innovation #GlassIndustry #FutureTech #Collaboration #Aachen #University #glass #science
