Spreading awareness about #marketresearch best practices in SF! 📢 😂 This post is about the importance of asking clear questions. From our experience with many research teams, poorly performing surveys often use inappropriate language for their target demographic. The solution? Ask clearer questions. Here are some useful tips: - Ask single questions. Avoid combining questions like “What do you like about our product? Do you think there are ways to improve it?” Respondents can lose focus or forget parts of the question. It’s better to separate them. - Test the survey. As the creator, you may become biased. Share the survey with someone unfamiliar with it and collect feedback. Some of our clients even build surveys just to gather feedback on the survey itself 🔄. - Speak the same language as your audience. This is crucial, especially if you’re investing heavily in the study. We suggest a gradual survey rollout. Start with 10 respondents, review their language, optimize the survey accordingly, and then increase the volume. P.S. Let me know if you want to meet in SF for a coffee 😊 ☕
