💫The secret that got people talking 🤫 In-N-Out Burger is unlike any other fast food chain. It's not just the fresh ingredients or the classic burgers—it's the power of a well-kept secret, and word of mouth marketing.. While most fast food chains bombard you with endless menu options and new items every month, In-N-Out took a different route. Fresh out of WWII and with a knack for business, Harry Snyder founded In-N-Out with a simple yet genius idea that set them apart: the Secret Menu. It all started when Harry, dreaming of his own business while working at a catering company, met Esther, who was managing the service in Seattle. Together, they created a burger joint that didn’t just serve food but also built a sense of community and exclusivity. Instead of overwhelming customers with choices, In-N-Out kept their menu simple and consistent. But behind that simplicity was a well-kept secret: a menu known only to those in the know. This Secret Menu wasn’t advertised but spread through word of mouth. Customers who discovered it felt special and couldn’t wait to share their insider knowledge with friends and family. Ordering from the Secret Menu became a badge of honor, making the experience at In-N-Out even more unique. The allure of a "secret" is powerful—it sparks curiosity and encourages people to talk, share, and engage more deeply with your brand. How are you leveraging word-of-mouth marketing for your brand? Share your strategies and let's discuss how to create that same sense of excitement and exclusivity! #wordofmouthmarketing #brandmarketing #fastfood #marketing #wordofmouthmarketing #branding #customerAquisition #influencermarketing #indiabussines

We all know Domino's Pizza for its delicious pizzas, but have you ever stopped to think about those little packets of oregano that come with each order? I’ll tell you a story about why those seemingly insignificant sachets are actually a masterclass in silent marketing. A few weeks ago, I ordered pizza with some friends. As we waited, we chatted about random things—work, weekend plans, and life. Then the pizza arrived, and the familiar sight of those extra oregano packets appeared. Everyone reached for them without even thinking. It was so automatic. That’s when it hit me—this is brilliant marketing. Not the kind that screams at you with a flashing banner or catchy slogan. It’s subtle, almost hidden. Over time, Domino’s has created an association between their product and those little sachets. They give more than you need, just enough to make sure you have a few left over. And guess what? You keep them. Days later, you’re making pasta or salad at home, and you think, "Oh, I have those Domino’s oregano packets!" The brand sneaks back into your mind without any flashy ad campaign. It's a moment of brand recall that feels personal and seamless. This is the kind of marketing that speaks without saying a word. It’s about offering value in unexpected places, ensuring your customer has a reason to remember you, even after the transaction is over. And it made me think—how can we apply this in other areas of business? What little extra touch can we give to leave a lasting impression? Sometimes, the smallest gestures have the biggest impact. What’s your ‘oregano packet’? #Marketing #CustomerExperience #Branding #SubtleMarketing

What does marketing planning and cooking pizza have in common? I love pizza and as I was cooking pizza last night, I thought about this link. 🍕 Start with the special recipe: Your recipe is your marketing strategy – your guide for creating magic. Everyone has their own magic pizza recipe. I have mixed Nonna’s special recipe with my own changes. Your marketing strategy should be specific to you too. 🧀 Select the best ingredients: This is the marketing tactics step. Here, you choose the best mix of marketing channels to reach your clients, or potential clients, and getting them thinking about your business. If you are measuring your results you may play around with your ingredients to get better results eg I have experimented with different 00 flours. 👃 Then you make the pizza: This is the implementation of your plan. All those ingredients working together, in action. Mmm! I can smell the pizza aromas now! 👩🍳Cook the pizza: Here is where the blend of ingredients makes for something special and delicious. Your aim is to do this with your own marketing, showcasing your products/services and your expertise. Cooking can be a fine art – not too long or the pizza will burn. Have you ever found getting your marketing mix right is a challenge? 📏Measurement and Feedback – The final step is you ask your family ‘How was the pizza?” This is an important step to refining your pizza making and it’s the same with your marketing plan. Refine your plan to make sure it is hitting that perfect spot on your client’s taste buds. Wash it all down with a nice glass of wine - a perfect value add! How is your marketing plan cooking? With gas, with woodfire, or is it not cooking at all? Extra cheese anyone? ----- Hi, I’m Leanne - a marketing coach who can help you get your marketing plan cooking with your own unique recipe. #Marketing #LookDeeperMarketing #MarketingStrategy #SmallBusinessMarketing #MarketingPlan

There are so many factors that play into a brand's success. But, I tend to think it's about the basics... 1. Great branding. 2. Great product. 3. Great experience. 4. Great feedback. That last point is the culmination of the first three. When people buy your product, like your product, and emote about your product, you're onto something. For Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, a BOGO Whole Foods Market deal, and a vote of confidence/recommendation from a friend led to a purchase and a delicious summer Sunday Dessert! #morningthoughts #wordofmouthmarketing PS Van Leeuwen Ice Cream and The Peach Truck peaches make the PERFECT combo.
