What is the fundamental mindset shift for B2B SaaS startups trying to adopt a PLG? Changing whom they're building for. Once you were building the product to appease the economic buyer. Now, you build it to help the actual user of the product first. And you need alignment across all departments to make this work.

🔥 Volta powered by a 6M pre-seed Round 🔥 Today marks a huge milestone for us. We’re launching Volta and sharing our vision to transform the way B2B brands, wholesalers, and distributors operate with modern digital tools and AI. The journey to Volta started with a simple observation: traditional B2B sales processes are stuck in outdated, inefficient systems, with teams juggling endless Excel files, emails, and manual steps. Mario experienced this firsthand when I met him, as he was selling his products and began to envision a new path forward—one that would leverage software and AI to streamline and empower B2B operations. After a year of researches and product iterations, Volta was born. With Volta, we aim to bring B2B sales into the digital age. Our AI- powered platform automates repetitive tasks, centralizes operations, and empowers teams to focus on what truly matters—growth, innovation, and connection. Our solution helps businesses: Digitize and simplify catalogs, orders, and client interactions Automate repetitive tasks, thanks to AI, for increased productivity Take better decision with real time data-driven insights 💸 Backed by a $6M pre-seed round and 40 incredible investors across 6 countries, Volta is more than a product; it’s a movement to reshape B2B commerce for a modern, digital-first economy. A special thank you to Mario Parteli, my amazing partner in crime, Antoine Le Squeren, Reda El ganzri, Elsa Moisand and the rest of the team whose vision and passion sparked the journey that became Volta. Together, we’ve combined our complementary experiences to create something we’re truly proud of. To Emblem, the lead investor of our dream, and the group of 40 outstanding investors who have backed us: thank you for your trust, support, and belief in our mission. We are super proud to share this journey with you all. The future of Wholesale Distribution is here, and we can’t wait to make it bright. #Volta #Launch #B2BCommerce #SaaS #DigitalTransformation

📢 🔔Dutch #B2B #SaaS companies we are exited to announce scalinglab from 23𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘢𝘺- 6𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘫𝘶𝘯𝘦 2024 Building an enterprise go-to-market model can be challenging and B2B SaaS companies do not always have a blueprint for building those partnerships that will enable them to scale outside the Netherlands.🌏🛒 #GenAI AI has the potential to replace services with software, leading to massive revenue growth, but the companies that are fully benefiting from this momentum are the ones able to adapt and adopt this technology the fastest. As for the organizations on the verge of scaling, the growing pains often take a significant toll on hiring and the team’s structure. ScalingLab is tackling common B2B SaaS challenges from three different angles, so the sessions are divided into three tracks (technical, commercial and productside) You can signup yourself via https://lnkd.in/eqmZRHDp Emile Verbunt Soham Dasgupta Niels Janssen Andreea-Ioana Mares Francesco Cortella Eva van den Noort Maud Zaal #globalexpansion #productgrowth #partnersmakemorepossible

🤔 Here's a mind-bending question for you: What do unicorns and successful B2B SaaS companies have in common? Answer: They both focus relentlessly on finding and nailing their product-market fit (PMF). In fact, a staggering 90% of startups fail due to lack of PMF. But here's the kicker - PMF isn't a one-time event. It's an ongoing process of listening to your customers, iterating on your product, and adapting to market changes. The most successful SaaS companies are those that make PMF a core part of their growth strategy. So, how do you know when you've achieved PMF, and what do you do next to scale your business? 🚀 #B2BSaaS #ProductMarketFit #GrowthStrategy

I am always amazed when someone discovers whitespace in B2B SaaS that is eligible for pre-seed funding. It's interesting to see that Chiratae Ventures led Pre-Seed round for Pepsales. Pepsales is trying to help B2B SaaS companies improve their sales by creating personalized product demos using AI and ML. The pain point they are trying to address is that most demos don't impress buyers because they tend to be generic and one-size-fits-all. Congrats Ajay Singh and Abhinandan Sahgal! Congratulations to the team at Orderful on their $15M funding round! This is an inspiring example of how innovation can breathe new life into systems that many once thought were outdated. I remember the dot-com era well. Back then, many of us were certain that XML would replace EDI entirely. It seemed inevitable. Yet here we are, decades later, and EDI remains at the core of supply chains worldwide. Why? Because systems like EDI, though imperfect, have proven resilient, reliable, and foundational. They endure because they meet a critical need with a precision that newer technologies often struggle to replicate. What Orderful is doing is a reminder that renewal is often more powerful than replacement. By reimagining EDI through modern tools like cloud-based platforms and APIs, they’re not tearing down what exists—they’re strengthening it, making it more accessible and adaptive for today’s challenges. This is more than just a financial milestone; it’s a vision for how legacy systems can be transformed to serve new purposes in a changing world. I look forward to seeing how Orderful continues to build a bridge between the old and the new, serving businesses and communities alike.
We're excited to announce our lead investment in Orderful’s $15 million growth round! Thrilled to partner with Erik Kiser and the entire Orderful team as they simplify B2B integrations and drive digital transformation in supply chain connectivity. We’re also excited to support Orderful alongside an exceptional group of investors, including 9Yards Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Flume Ventures, GLP Capital Partners, and NFI Ventures, LLC. Looking forward to what's next! https://lnkd.in/gu2pQ_f9
