Portfolio company Capitolis acquired Capitalab, a London-based risk management, margin optimization, and other financial services provider, from BGC Group for $46 million.

I’m extremely excited to announce new strategic investments in Capitolis from four leading global banks. The new round is led by Citi and includes State Street, both existing investors in Capitolis, as well as new investors Morgan Stanley, and UBS. The investments will be used to fuel Capitolis’ growth across both our Capital Marketplace and Portfolio Optimization businesses.   Capitolis has been partnering closely with the industry to make the financial markets safer and stronger within a well-regulated system, and we have seen tremendous growth because of this.
