The #FCA have released the latest edition of their newsletter, titled Market Watch 81, on market conduct and transaction reporting issues. Containing an assessment of key findings from skilled person reviews issued under section 166, this shot across the bows from the FCA should leave firms under no illusion about the regulator's diminishing tolerance for transaction reporting failings. The observations identify weaknesses in five core areas that consistently lead to reporting failures, with a clear expectation that firms must prioritise proactively addressing these issues or face the risk of sanctions.
