𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 Yun Luo from SophonX spoke about new automotive technologies coming out of China last week at our 17th Annual Inside China Automotive Conference at the University of Michigan.  Yun focused on a set of technologies including L3 autonomous driving, high speed #electric drives, one shot body forming technology, high energy #battery materials, multi-modal smart cockpits, and electric hydraulic brakes.  It will be interesting to see if any of these technologies appear in vehicles by global manufacturers in the next few years. We’re particularly interested in the multi-modal cockpit that is made possible through a software-defined #vehicle program that we’ll be discussing in our next conference on February 19, 2025.   Thanks to Yun for his participation in our conference through his presentation and discussion.
