Pymwymic’s Healthy Food Systems Impact Fund II has successfully closed at €71.5 million, surpassing its initial €70 million target. The fund has attracted the support of over 250 private investors and seven institutional stakeholders, including AGCO Corporation, ASR, Invest International, and Van Lanschot Kempen. With its focus on AgriFood scale-ups, the fund aims to tackle pressing challenges such as environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, and human health issues by investing in innovative technologies and sustainable practices. Pymwymic’s Managing Partner, Rogier Pieterse, emphasizes the necessity of a regenerative approach to food systems, championing entrepreneurs advancing this mission. The Healthy Food Systems Impact Fund II prioritizes solutions in areas like soil health, crop intelligence, food waste reduction, and sustainable farming to reshape the supply chain and accelerate the shift towards sustainability.
