The cover that should have been
Fully agree. However, Time has a readership of about 26 million people - almost all of whom are in the United States. There are teenage influencers with a bigger audience. Outdated and irrelevant.
Time Inc. You should really make this happen.
Wow, glad to see that her phenomenal impact has been reached the other side of the Atlantic. I agree with you, she would deserve this cover. Hope that sentences pronounced today are just the beginning of a radical shift in the prevention, detection and prosecution of violence against women

Elevate the heros, not the criminals. Celebrate bravery stemming from tragedy. Not lies, chaos, and those who inflict harm for greed.
Absolutely! Her courage and strength to step out of the shame corner into the light.
An absolutely shocking and mind blowing story 🤯🤯🤯 reading the news I even first thought it was my lack of understanding of French it just couldn’t be what I thought it was…
I so agree with you Alison Taylor An absolute icon for her bravery and resilience. Gisèle Pelicot really did flip shame on its head. May this herald a change in the way society views rape and most importantly how we treat survivors.

4dI think Time's 'Person of the Year' is slightly pedantic, considering that both Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin were named Time's 'Person of the Year' in years past. Time should do a better job explaining that this title doesn't necessarily equate to personal greatness, as many are led to believe. I know this post will probably get me deported, targeted by MAGA loyalists, or even put on a list at the Department of Justice when the next administration takes over, but I stand by every word.
