To date, we have helped 320+ kids file patents and won 57+ titles at global innovation competitions! DiscoverSTEM has also provided USD 785,468 in scholarships to 145 underprivileged students. “True richness comes from your mind, sketches, and the practical knowledge that brings your ideas to life.” ^ Mr. Faizan’s words, not mine. Since co-founding DiscoverSTEM, I have collaborated with numerous students through our academy. Jamk Arena gathers together articles with the expertise of JAMK University of Applied Sciences. The Hackathon challenge provider has a big opportunity to start a co-operation to the real need in our hackathons. "Based on the experience of the organizers, the most important factors in selecting and defining the challenges would be a real need as well as time and commitment from the challenge provider. 🚀 A surge of interest: What InputLab’s founder learned from it-sa 2024   🌍 What a whirlwind experience for Dr. Dominic Steinhöfel, one of five founders of InputLab, a startup specialized in testing and supported by CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security. As the runner-up of CISPA’s recent Pitchday, the Technology Transfer division awarded Dominic's startup with a spot at it-sa only few days later. #itsa is the premier IT security trade fair in Nürnberg, held from October 22-24. With 25,830 attendees from 65 countries and 897 exhibitors, it was the perfect place to test ideas, forge connections, and validate visions.   🗣Here is what Dominic shared about the it-sa :   ❓Dominic, what positively surprised you at this year's it-sa? → "The quality of conversations. Visitors responded very positively to our pitch, and within just a few hours, three people had already scheduled follow-up meetings with me. I never expected that kind of immediate traction." 🤩   ❓What did not go as planned?  → "Finding the right rhythm on the first day was tough. Initially, approaching people cold was exhausting. But by the second day, I hit my stride. Having a few go-to strategies really made the difference. " 😎   ❓Which experience at it-sa gives you hope for your startup? → "The unexpected high interest in test data was a game-changer. The sheer volume of positive responses to my follow-up emails is proof enough.
