Meet us at the #METSTRADE 2024! METSTRADE is the world’s largest marine equipment trade show connecting marine and boating industry professionals from around the world. At the Finnish national pavilion, the Finnish boating equipment industry with almost 20 companies presents solutions that are designed to perform in the most demanding conditions of the Nordic countries and are therefore fit for use all over the world. “METSTRADE showcases the spirit of innovation in the boating industry. We see familiar exhibitors with new products, long-standing players returning, and new innovations emerging every year,” says Jarkko Pajusalo, CEO of the Finnish Marine Industries Federation Finnboat. ”This year, we’re excited to present groundbreaking Finnish companies like X-Fender and SimplyDC, bringing fresh perspectives to the marine sector. Finnish companies continue to be increasingly active, which is also reflected in the growth of the Finnish pavilion.” METSTRADE 2024 will take place this year from the 19th to the 21st November in Amsterdam at the RAI Convention Centre. The Finnish pavilion can be found in hall 1 next to the neighboring Swedish and Norwegian pavilions.

#boatshow #ifbso #helsinkiboatafloat #finnboat The Helsinki Boat-Afloat Show: A Showcase of Finland's Marine Industry The Helsinki Boat-Afloat Show, hosted in Lauttasaari, Helsinki, drew an impressive 10,620 visitors, marking a 5.5% increase from the previous year. This event showcased a significant portion of Finland's vibrant marine industry, with a special focus on the country's robust boat manufacturing sector. Notably, Finland excels in producing small outboard power boats, typically ranging from 5m to 8m in length. In a nation where boating is more than just a hobby—it's a way of life—there are approximately one million leisure boats for a population of five million. Finland’s rich landscape, dotted with lakes and islands, makes boating an essential mode of transport. Despite current economic challenges, including rising inflation and mortgage rates, the show’s organizer, Finnboat, remains optimistic about the industry’s future. Encouraging signs of recovery in new boat sales highlight the sector's resilience, deeply rooted in Finland’s strong boating culture. With fiberglass boats often lasting 30-40 years, the second-hand market thrives, and boat maintenance has become a cherished pastime for many enthusiasts. Finland is proud to host two major boat shows annually: the Helsinki International Boat Show in February and the Helsinki Boat-Afloat Show at the HSK Yacht Club each August.

We obviously see a lot of boat breakdown videos & tours being in the marine industry. Many of these tours are very similar or have the same type of repetition. How many of you watch these types videos all the way through or is there something specific that keeps you around? As we continue finding more ways to get creative on camera, it’s always good to ask the ones who watch it about their honest opinions. What are some of your recommendations, feedback or input for what type of content you prefer or like to watch? Or things you want changed/improved on when it comes to marine and boating content? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments! 🦾 #badboyboating #marketingguru #boattour #yachtingindustry #marinemarketing

Electric boating is quiet boating. Why does quiet boating matter? Quiet boating is a key advantage for commercial boat operators in tourism. Electric tour boats enable you to immerse yourself in the nature you set out to see. You can listen the ocean and wildlife, talk to each other, and hear your tour guide without shouting over a noisy combustion engine. Evoy is proud to work with the fjord tourism company Bonseye who runs trips on the beautiful World Heritage Geirangerfjord in Western Norway. Their HyFoil RIB by Green Fjords AS is powered by an Evoy Breeze Outboard 120+ hp electric motor system. ‘Most people want electric tours. If they can have electric tours, they will choose electric tours,’ say Bonseye owner Frank Ole Bonsaksen. ‘There isn’t any noise like there is from a petrol engine. There is no smell. They can listen to the birds. They love it.’ #ElectricBoating #SustainableTourism #ZeroEmission #QuietBoating
