Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy !!! 👍 I never cease to be amazed at the lengths some brokers go to secure business. Had 2 calls in the last 2 days where clients have told me that another mortgage broker company has suggested that it would make it simpler if they didn’t disclose certain material facts which would affect the application and not tell the lender the true source of deposit. Not only is this wrong, fraudulent and risking your career… It’s downright lazy 👎 A good Mortgage Broker will establish the FACTS, and armed with these FACTS, use their knowledge of the market and lenders criteria to source a suitable mortgage solution. Simple!!! Yes, it can be time consuming, but often the most complicated enquiries have a successful outcome and sadly you can’t always help.
