⌚𝟭𝟵𝟬 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ⌚ After 190 days in recruitment, I've already learned a lot that has shaped how I approach the role. Here are the key lessons that have stood out: 𝟭. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 Recruitment is less about CVs and more about people. Understanding the character behind the qualifications is what makes the difference. 𝟮. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 “𝗡𝗼” 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 “𝗬𝗲𝘀” Rejections are part of the process, but each one brings you closer to that perfect fit. Patience and persistence are key. 𝟯. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗼 𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 Whether it’s following up with candidates or schools, the pace never slows down. Keeping busy and staying proactive is crucial. 𝟰. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘅 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 Creativity isn’t just for marketing – finding unique solutions to challenges in recruitment can be what sets you apart. 𝟱.
