Wanted: Experienced Embedded Engineers Networking is everything, so I wanted to reach out personally to let you all know Firia and Firia Labs are in search of more embedded engineering talent in-house. Our team’s skills are in high demand, and we need a few more skilled engineers to join us here in Huntsville. We’ve posted on job sites, but we’re not getting the right responses. And honestly, I think the engineers we’re looking for—the ones we truly need—might not be actively job-hunting. Instead, they’re looking for something different in their careers, a place that sparks curiosity and satisfies that drive to make and do. Many of my connections are in education because of Firia Labs’ work in computer science education, but you all know folks outside of that space too. We’re looking for “Makers and doers – people who are curious but have the drive to get things done.” Engineers who are “smart, curious, and tenacious,” with that perfect balance of “confidence plus humility.” This is an in-person role here in the Huntsville area, where collaboration and teamwork are everything.
