Reflecting on the FOOD 2030 Networks Conference! 🌍 From March 5th to 7th, the #FOOD2030 Networks Conference brought together stakeholders in Brussels to explore transformative food system innovation. As a proud consortium partner, #HDHL actively participated in shaping the dialogue. A #highlight from Day 1 was the emphasis on the FOOD2030 Project Collaboration Network, which now encompasses 78 projects totaling €450 million. This robust commitment to collective action signals a pivotal opportunity to influence policy and drive positive change within the EU and beyond. In today‘s exhibition world, #sustainability is gaining more and more importance. Resource management is crucial in sustainability. Hence recyclable and reusable materials play a key role in this regard. In our latest projects, we reused the same stand materials about at 70% level and thus cut significant cost and helped protect #environment. In the future, lacking this perspective in the exhibition services industry means no more business in the EU. Please have a look at our recent project at the Anuga FoodTec 2024 in Cologne, Germany and the previous one. 🌿 Biocircularity: Shaping the Future of Food 🥗 Today, at the "Biocircularity in Action: Opportunities within Sustainable and Circular Food Systems" Summit, Grigoris Chatzikostas, Partner at reframe.food, delivered a thought-provoking speech at the Teagasc Food Research Centre in Ashtown, Dublin, Ireland. 🗣️ In his talk, "Global Perspectives of Biocircularity in Action," G. Chatzikostas provided deep insights into how biocircularity can transform global food systems, driving sustainable innovations and practices. His speech inspired the audience with actionable examples for a more sustainable food future. Excellent cross regional project to drive circularity in the food system and reduce food waste one of the biggest CO2 emitter

This past week, I had the pleasure to present our ongoing work "Are multi-stakeholders initiatives promoting decarbonization in the food supply chain?" at the 5th International Conference on Global Food Security in Leuven, Belgium. The work is done within the EU H2020 EU Enough Project and assesses perspectives of EU consumers about sustainable food. Are we following a promising path toward an effective sustainable transition?
