Lovely ideas. Thank you. It is also a good idea to pause the story at vantage points and ask them to suggest how the plot will unfold. This will invite a comparison between the child’s creativity and the author’s version incrementally as the story unfolds. With the entire class participating, it could develop into a rich community of inquiry. Another interesting exercise would be to ask the child to ponder on something he or she holds dear - a toy, an electronics item, a pencil case, etc - and ask him or her to suggest how the functionality or usefulness of it may be improved.

🚀 How to Boost Creativity: Consistency vs. Intensity When it comes to creating e.g your own short film or any content, which approach yields better results? A) Pouring seven hours straight into your project and then abandoning it for four weeks? B) Dedicate 20 minutes per day, five days a week, consistently over four weeks? The answer is undoubtedly B. Consistency trumps sporadic intensity - Our best ideas and growth emerge gradually, not in a single burst. Remember: Consistent effort fuels creativity. 🌟 - Colette Nichol What's your approach or view?

Sick of blank pages and unformed ideas? Brainstorming is the key to unlocking your creativity. But tossing ideas around in your head doesn't always produce results. So instead, try brainstorming ideas with your pen. Think of your pen as an extension of your mind. Write down every thought, even the ones that seem silly. Then connect the dots. You'll be amazed at how freely and creatively your ideas flow when you put pen to paper. So next time you're stuck, grab a pen and just write.

This talk is 12 years old but still powerful. Creative Confidence! Imagine thinking that you aren’t creative and then learning it’s not that you’re not creative it’s just that you don’t practice being creative. Creativity isn’t just for designers and painters and anyone on your creative services team. If you can every single week/month take your teams/company’s through creative brainstorming. Do that for a year and really make it a big deal and I’m sure your company will never be the same. It may not seem like it immediately but trust you’ll start to see and feel a different company, more engaged teams, and the list of benefits goes on and on! #FooliesApproved
