I am sharing another #leadershipnugget from Maxwell Leadership's Minute with Maxwell this morning, which explains why we overcome failure as leaders. This was a great way to start my morning. The biggest takeaway for me from this morning's video was to set ourselves apart as leaders, we need to embrace failure, overcome it with tenacity, and reframe it. "The Law of Navigation is about not only seizing the moment but seeing it. Anyone can steer the ship, but a leader charts the path." This was the main takeaway I had from this morning's Minute with Maxwell. It was a good reminder for me in the importance of having various strengths on your team. There are things that my team members do better than I can or ever will, and it's okay for me to pass them the ball and let them run with it. As a leader, my goal is to set the vision and strategy, break down the barriers (if needed) that are internal and/or external to the organization, and guide my team members to success by serving them.
