30+ years since! Volvo Cars Torslanda was my first great place to work för this magnificent brand. Still proud provider to a company offering cool core values with attributes always essential for building its strength. Me getting well acquainted with the first XC90, launched before I left the plant, was such an amazing experience. Creating value The value of shared know-how in hard to determine. So many learnings throughout the years, also from teams in other businesses within the Göteborg automotive cluster. Huge steps in technology within the industry, in particular the latest years, taken for Volvo Cars. Now approaching 6 months since the official opening of a unique facility: The state-of-the-art flagship of engineering centres and Tech Hubs, indeed a great place to work. Reflecting on the energy around us, the last few weeks, experiencing such a positive flow. Ambience like an open bar of inspiration from all interaction. Collaboration with professional highly resolute people and always being empowered by the successful genuine leadership. Transformation for efficiency All the innovations on our way - pushed through with resilience and perseverance - to deliver those unique products and services. Being confident in successful global launches, thanks to all the efforts testing, bringing functional growth rapidly further to the customer. Perfection made sure utilizing continuously growing capacity in the SW development. Taking the lead in transformation of how to run testing makes this journey even more interesting. In addition to this creating more value through increased collaboration and transparency. As a result, we are looking forward to more efficient utilization of each investment. Being a part of the value creation feels special and implies a certain gratitude. Meanwhile, in an adjacent dimension, nice to see Volvo as a brand reclaim its position as Sweden’s second most valuable in the ranking. Thanks, Felipe Smolka, for this remark. To your point, small BEV carries a smaller and lighter battery which is quicker to recharge. Being by design a city car, the daily commute and mileage is likely to be fairly low (well under its 149 miles of range), allowing for an easy overnight recharge with off-peak electricity rate. And isn’t it in city driving conditions that a traditional ICE vehicle delivers the worst fuel economy? Nothing makes more sense than a Small Urban BEV.

[FAILED] BIG EURO TRIP This #challenge is failed. Failed by all companies which I try to challenge (NIO, Polestar, XPENG, Group Lotus, BYD EUROPE BYD, HONGQI Norge, GEELY, Zeekr Europe ZEEKR International). In 2 months no one give me feedback or accept this challenge, only one company (Zeekr Europe) replied, but not accepted. I tried to challenge companies which is not so popular in Europe yet. Now plan for trip is reworked and will include 6 countries, aprx. 10k km, 2-3 weeks. In this plan I will challenge my Volvo C40. Volvo is popular in Europe and this is why this company wasn't included in challenge before. But if Volvo Cars want to accept this #challenge and support us - we are open for cooperation/collaboration and ready to promote Volvo during this trip.

The two new BEV intercity buses should help to continue to play a leading role. The intercity buses from Mercedes-Benz and Setra totaled 2,106 units in 2023 - and thus a 26.5% market share to Iveco Bus's 54.8%. Third place went to MAN last year, as determined by Wim Chatrou from Chatrou CME Solutions. Almost 82 percent of the new intercity buses over 8t were registered in France (2,478), Italy (2,171) and Germany (1,132) as well as Spain (708). The Crossway vehicles were the undisputed market leader in three of the four countries, except in Spain. Time to start the new Crossway Elec InterCity highfloor, after the Crossway Elec Low Entry successfully entered the market!
