Volvo Produces 100,000 EX30 EVs Within 10 Months Of Launch The compact electric SUV has been on the verge of launching in North America for a while now The Volvo EX30 has turned out to be a massive success for the Geely-owned Swedish auto giant. Volvo has been renowned for making some of the safest cars out there. After Geely acquired the biggest share in Volvo in 2010, the Swedish car marque found a base for manufacturing in China. In fact, Volvo’s luxury electric division, Polestar, also utilized that base to flood the international markets with its luxury EVs. However, after the recent tariffs from Europe and the U.S., Volvo is planning to shift a large chunk of its manufacturing to Europe in Ghent, Belgium. #volvo #volvoex30 #ex30 #electriccars #electricvehicles https://lnkd.in/gB5-2a-K

Volvo: A Story of Putting People Before Profit 🚀📈 In the cutthroat world of automobiles, where competition is fierce and margins are thin, Volvo stands out as a beacon of ethical business practices. Their story isn't just about sleek car designs and powerful engines; it's a testament to prioritizing safety and social responsibility. ⭐ Imagine the 1950s, a time when car companies were locked in a race for innovation. Accidents were on the rise, and every automaker desperately sought the edge that would make them the safest brand. ⭐ Enter Volvo engineer Nils Bohlin and his revolutionary invention: the three-point seatbelt. This had the potential to be a game-changer, a golden ticket to market dominance for Volvo. But here's where Volvo took an unexpected turn. ⭐ Instead of jealously guarding the patent, Volvo made a shocking decision. They gave it away, freely available for any competitor to use. This act of selflessness, driven by a desire to save lives, ensured the three-point seatbelt became ubiquitous, saving over a million lives globally. ⭐ Volvo's commitment to safety goes far beyond seatbelts. They set industry-leading standards, constantly pushing the boundaries of car safety. This relentless pursuit has earned them a reputation as one of the safest car brands in the world, consistently achieving top safety ratings. ⭐ But Volvo's impact extends beyond the car itself. They understand the importance of building brand awareness. Viral videos showcasing their cars' incredible safety features in near-impossible situations leave a lasting impression. Their dedication to safety is woven into the very fabric of their brand identity. ⭐ Their commitment doesn't stop there. The success of the "Volvo XC90" model, with zero fatalities in 16 years, exemplifies their unwavering dedication to building cars that protect. ⭐ Looking beyond cars, Volvo developed Life Paint, a reflective spray for cyclists, to enhance their visibility on the road. This initiative highlights their dedication to safety for all road users. ⭐ Volvo's vision extends to the future of our planet. Their commitment to clean energy solutions demonstrates their understanding that safety encompasses not just people but also the environment. ⭐ In a world obsessed with profit, Volvo's story is a refreshing reminder that businesses can thrive while making a positive impact. Their unwavering commitment to safety has not only saved lives but also built an extraordinary brand that consumers trust and admire. #volvo #car #casestudy

Just landed ⬇️⬇️🍾 The baby of the Volvo SUV lineup, the Volvo EX30 makes for a durable and efficient electric lease. We say baby – if it was an actual baby, it would be an alarmingly large one. The sort of baby that grandmas and aunts coo over and say ‘cor, isn’t he big?’. And for a compact electric SUV, the Volvo EX30 really is sizeable. Which is no bad thing. It makes it all the more practical, while still being able to zip around town, squeeze into the tight parking spaces that always seem to be the only ones left by the time you get there, and trundle through winding country lanes without breaking a sweat. With a WLTP Comb range between 279 and 296 miles (model dependent) , a 318L boot and a cool, characterful interior, the Volvo EX30 is one to take a second look at. And a third. Go on, take a fourth. We won't tell anyone. In stock and available now exclusively through Carparison. Volvo’s journey towards an electric future has reached a significant milestone. The Swedish automaker has produced its final diesel-powered car, marking the end of an era for the nearly century-old company. Diesel Era Ends: Final Volvo XC90 Heads To Gothenburg Museum The last model to rumble off the assembly line was a Volvo XC90 SUV, built on February 26th at the Torslanda plant in Sweden. This historic vehicle won’t be gracing driveways, though. Instead, it has a permanent place reserved for it in the Volvo museum in Gothenburg, serving as a testament to the brand’s diesel heritage. This move reflects Volvo’s ambitious commitment to electrification. In 2017, the company announced it would cease development of new diesel engines, a bold decision at a time when diesel sales were still strong, particularly in Europe. However, stricter emission regulations and a growing consumer shift towards electric vehicles have reshaped the automotive landscape. Industry news: Volvo Cars is planning to reduce its ownership in the Swedish electric vehicle maker Polestar. They intend to distribute about 62.7% of their stake, valued at 9.5 billion crowns ($920.17 million), to their shareholders. This move will leave Volvo Cars with an 18% stake in Polestar. Currently, Volvo Cars owns approximately 48% of Polestar, a level of involvement that some analysts believe is holding back Volvo's resources. To make this distribution, Volvo Cars will conduct a 2-for-1 share split followed by an automatic share redemption process. What do you think about this strategic move by Volvo Cars? How do you believe it will impact both Volvo and Polestar in the EV market?
