Urgent Appeal: Help Us Finalize Our Move!
We're transitioning to our new Red Feather Lakes home but need your help to close out our old site in Rist Canyon. We need to remove old fencing — a critical project that requires professional expertise. This project involves dismantling and recycling 13,000 linear feet of fencing and dig guard, weighing over 50 tons. Completing this will save us $2,000 in monthly rent and allow us to focus on our new home and the care of our animals.
Bids for this project were originally up to $250,000. We've secured a contractor for $65,000, but we still need to raise these funds urgently. Since Friday, we've raised more than $11,000 towards this goal. No donation is too big or too small to make a difference. Your support will help us raise the $65,000 needed to finalize our move and ensure our resources go towards caring for our animals. This project is essential for the future of W.O.L.F. Sanctuary.
Your donation today will directly impact the future of our sanctuary and the lives of our wolf dogs.

A perfect example of a business model with feeling…. Humanitarian effort to help everyone be a part of something beneficial to themselves and to others. Life will have ups and downs, it’s how we learn from the situations we’ve been in and behave when the next situation comes around. Helping others will always be a role I look forward to.
Happy Goodwill Week!
During the first full week of May each year, we at Goodwill Industries of Kentucky are proud to join more than 150 Goodwill organizations in celebrating Goodwill Industries® Week to highlight the Goodwill mission — transforming lives through the power of work.
When you donate or shop at Goodwill, you are helping us provide Kentuckians with the training and support they need to find pathways out of poverty. Thank you for your support!
Bridging the Gap for Peacebuilding
I'm fortunate that I get to help out Concordis International as a Trustee and I am delighted to share an opportunity for you to help this amazing organisation too.
Concordis enables peaceful solutions, helping communities navigate conflict and protecting vulnerable individuals from violence. Their work not only transforms lives but lays the foundations for long-term stability in some of the world's most fragile regions.
Anyone who has worked in the humanitarian sector knows that funding often doesn’t align with urgent needs. Programmes built on years of trust and engagement risk being scaled back or halted due to gaps in funding. The human cost of such interruptions is immeasurable.
At Concordis, we’ve secured part of the funding needed to sustain a critical peacebuilding project, but there is still a shortfall. This project has proven its effectiveness in reducing conflict and fostering stability. Bridging this gap is not just about preserving a programme—it’s about protecting lives and livelihoods.
If you’re able to donate, your support will make a tangible difference.
Every contribution, large or small, ensures we can continue this vital work.

*Support a Family in Bosnia During the Blessed Days of Dhul Hijjah*
Bosnia, our nearest Muslim neighbours, have endured severe hardship, including the last mass genocide in Europe. Today, they still face significant deprivation, particularly affecting widows and unemployed families.
The Greenhouse Project offers a sustainable solution, helping these families earn a respectable livelihood throughout the year. By providing a family with a greenhouse, you enable them to grow and sell produce such as strawberries, thus sustaining themselves.
*Contribution Options:*
£2,500 funds a complete greenhouse with all necessary equipment, seeds, and water supply.
£1,250 covers half the cost of a greenhouse.
£500 supports a fifth of the cost.
£100 contributes a portion towards the cost.
Your donations can make a substantial impact, no matter the amount.

*If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift (sadaqah) for him.* – Imam Bukhari

CCO @Grace & Green | Improving access to sustainable period products | Championing period dignity for all🩸Coaching | Consulting | Mentoring | Founder @Seed to Oak
When I joined Grace & Green in 2022 as Head of Growth, my very first presentation to the Board was about how we took what had been created in Period Dignity and use this to have a much wider impact on both the business and the world of work. How would we make Period Dignity the market leader (with very little money to spend to do so)?
I don't have enough space in this post to work through exactly what I set out in that meeting, however it boiled down to:
✌ Understanding the impact we want to have: It's always been about more than supplying products - Education is woven into the threads of Period Dignity.
To achieve period dignity we need access to information, availability of products and acceptance within workplace culture - we designed our offering and continue to develop everything we do around these pillars. This was summed up perfectly by a client (John) who said "Grace & Green don't just supply a product, they create a CULTURE". Exactly John.
✌ Remember who we are and why we are doing it: Unsurprisingly, the workplace space has and is becoming more competitive. This is excellent news, as more businesses embrace free period care as a basic right, and especially comforting how many are choosing a more sustainable providers. As now Chief Commercial Officer, it's also mildly stressful (mildly 🙃 ).
However, dignity continues to be about more than avoiding getting caught short, it's about embracing inclusivity and supporting our Members to deliver dignity for all, no matter of age, gender identity, or how they experience their period. There's still a long way to go, and we've got SO much more coming here...
✌ Treat every customer like they are absolutely making our day. This is perhaps a small business mindset, or when many of the team have done almost every job in the company. We all remember the THRILL of winning our first big contract, the DELIGHT of walking into a shop and seeing our products on shelf, or randomly walking into the bathroom BEAMING seeing our products. We don't take for granted the fact we get to be in people's everyday.
(For me this has never worn off, my heart still skips a little when I process an order, receive a tender award notice, or see a customer talking about us on socials.)
Particularly grateful for our team for supporting our phenomenal YOY 120% growth, for challenging, pushing our vision and positioning, and for being excellent.
I'm incredibly proud of what we and our members are doing to drive inclusivity, awareness and dignity within their workplaces and educational establishments. I can't wait to see what the next two years can hold.
Happy Birthday Period Dignity. x

The main message delivered during World Red Cross Day is treat all people with hospitality, dignity and humanity.
World Red Cross Day is also celebrated through blood donation. People are encouraged to donate blood to save the lives of people in need of blood.
This is another way in which people show humanity. Red Cross officials assemble in various local towns or schools and encourage locals to voluntarily donate blood. In addition, World Red Cross Day is also celebrated through fund raising and donations.
Local natives, societies, non-governmental organizations, companies, and many other types of organizations are encouraged to make their contribution to a certain account to raise money for assisting a dying life.
Every person is encouraged to contribute money based on their capacity. The money is used to pay health bills of needy patients and providing food to people affected by natural disasters such as floods or earthquakes. Religious organizations are taking part in World Red Cross Day by visiting sick people and making contributions.

Recent heavy rainfall and catastrophic flooding in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, marks the worst natural disaster in the region's history to date. As the death toll continues to rise, multiple communities are facing displacement and destruction in the wake of the floods, impacting thousands of Brazilian citizens. More than 1 million people have been affected so far in the state, out of which 41,000 are refugees or persons in need of international protection.
We have created a fund to distribute emergency supplies and staff shelters, offer meals and services, and do outreach throughout the affected areas. Your contribution can make a difference! You can double or triple the impact of your donation with matching gifts.
Donate, share, and repeat to inspire others and make a positive impact. Your donation or gift is tax-deductible and will be described on your receipt and to the extent allowed by law. We are a tax-exempt non-profit corporation under the Internal Revenue Code section 501 (c) (3) provisions and registered as a Public Charity 509(a)(2) in the United States of America.
Let's come together and support those in need during this difficult time.
