🗂️ Has your department gone through an split with a larger agency? Last week, we sat down with Philip Parker, Director of Operations and Strategic Plans, who implemented Esper following a split from a larger establishment to a now independent agency, Mississippi Department of Child Protective Services. When tasked with managing the workload from the split, Philip and his team of 3 turned to Esper's platform so they could efficiently revise, upload, and publish every policy and procedure in their new digital library. 📚 Catch the full on-demand webinar here: https://hubs.la/Q02_vglF0

This thread has a lovely discussion on sps performance. That is slides per second. Speaker lingo you know. But I want to talk about bitrate. You may have 60 slides and I just have 17. I have 1.7Gb of slides.
Can I deliver 60 slides in 40 minutes or less? Join my CodeBEAM Europe session next week and we'll find out together 😅 https://lnkd.in/dVz5m3ZB

The potential impact of this re-review (credit Victoria MacLennan for the name) on future-focussed sectors like #creative and #tech should concern all of us. There's no "going back" to the ITO model for us - we didn't have one! Toi Mai WDC is effectively a start-up given that it has had to build data & insights models from scratch, while also undertaking industry engagement that didn't exist pre 2021. Our sectors, and the NZ economy, need Toi Mai to be allowed the time and investment to mature and develop a vocational education and training system that delivers for the future, not the past.
Missed yesterday's fireside chat? Fear not! It's now up on our YouTube channel! The new government is implementing changes across the education system. Joining Vic on this fireside chat is Dr Claire Robinson, CEO of Toi Mai the Workforce Development Council (WDC) for Creative, Culture, Recreation and Technology. Join us for a candid conversation on the challenges we face in meeting the rapidly changing demands our sector, demystifying what a WDC is and does for our industry and discuss what we can expect to see happen in the vocational education sector moving forward.
