I don’t like cookie cutter websites! When I worked in a small web design agency, I remember discussing the idea of offering quick turn-around, templated websites to our customers. One thing most of my colleagues agreed with is that while that’s not a bad option and there is no shame in that game, we just could not deprive ourselves of the ability to be creative, and our clients from personalized services. At the end of the day, a microgreens farm needed something totally different than a Non-Profit that offered online courses for SMEs. Later, as I joined Wix, I was wondering if I was betraying everything I was standing for in my previous agency. I was very excited to find out I was not. A fascinating and underutilized tool in the property/real estate development space is neighborhood branding. How do you get people to desire a community? Aside from making sure it's actually a good community, you work on building an emotional connection to it. One way that a very small amount of companies are doing this at the moment is through neighborhood branding, a way of visually representing a communities culture. Developers: if you're working on growing a community, I'd encourage you to focus on how that community visually represents itself. How does the signage at the park stick to a consistent look? How do directional street signs look? How should you design subdivision monuments? Any print material for promoting the community? All of these things, give you that 1% edge in connecting emotionally with a market.

The new bleed.com has been named 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 by web platform Framer! 🥳 We soft-launched the new site only a few weeks ago, and it's actually our first project on the Framer platform. To me, this recognition is a testament to Bleed's decades-long commitment to exploring new technologies and platforms to create strategically strong and differentiated designs and brand experiences. 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀, 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 We believe in being agnostic to specific tools and technologies. Instead, we focus on leveraging the latest innovations to build successful brands and customer experiences over time. In recent years, we've been exploring how no-code and low-code platforms like Framer and Webflow can be used to efficiently create unique brand experiences. It's especially gratifying to receive recognition for our work, such as the recent award from Framer and the diploma we won at the Visuelt Awards this winter for the Ambassaden Event website, which we designed and implemented using Webflow. 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘇𝘇 While buzzwords like "low-code" and "AI" are exciting, we always strive to look beyond the hype. Our goal is to understand how these new tools can help us create even better work for our clients. We've found that tools like Framer and Webflow are excellent for creating clear and compelling websites, with simple structures and Calls to Actions. However, for more complex sites (multiple languages, intricate integrations, or other advanced features) we always recommend more customizable tools, such as Sanity, Craft CMS etc. 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 In today's digital landscape, brands are becoming increasingly similar in how they appear and communicate.
