Starting college can seem like a maze, leaving you wondering where to begin, whether you belong, or how you'll succeed. As a previous first-generation student, I am excited to meet you and support you on the next steps in your COD journey.  Get a head start on college by visiting a COD Center near you. Complete your admissions application, take required placement exams, and meet with an academic advisor – all in one stop. Advisors can help you explore degree options, create an academic plan, and register for courses in your selected program. During this visit, you will have the opportunity to submit your FAFSA application to maximize your funding options. Additionally, make use of the Student Planning Self-Service overview to understand how to search for courses, plan your semesters, and register for your selected courses. With personalized guidance and support, you can start your path to success at the COD Center. There will be a presentation in Spanish from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. by yours truly. Had the pleasure of attending and presenting at the Carnegie National Small College Enrollment Conference this week in Charlotte where I connected (and reconnected!) with admissions colleagues from all over the country and shared information about Interstride 's engagement platform for international students with Judy Chen.
