What's the 'right' way? Sometimes when we have to take critical decisions in our daily routine as Leaders, we feel 'railed in' - often driven by being too close to the situation, too focused on what's right ahead and led by others who might walk the path we immediately see. What happens when we pause for a moment, looking left and right, maybe zoom out and take in the bigger picture perspective? We might become aware of two or three paths leading to where we want to head. It feels counterintuitive as it is so ingrained in our way of operating to move fast and efficiently. What do you notice today when you take a pause and look at what's ahead from a wide-angle perspective? #leadership #personaldevelopment #perspective

Systems thinking and critical thinking are crucial for today's leaders, but they're not interchangeable. #SystemsThinking focuses on the big picture, understanding how interconnected parts of a system influence each other. It helps us see the forest and the trees. #CriticalThinking is about analyzing information, evaluating evidence, and questioning assumptions. It helps us identify flaws in arguments and make sound judgments. By combining these skills, we can make more informed decisions and drive positive change. What are your thoughts on the importance of these skills in leadership? Share your experiences or insights in the comments below. #thoughtleadership #leadershipdevelopment
