Using LED wall virtual production can help with lighting. This is because the walls provide a blend of both traditional and digital lighting. Consequently, filmmakers have more control over the look and feel of their scenes. This can be done by adjusting the colors, brightness, contrast and shadows that come from a digital source. Additionally, filmmakers can easily create different lighting scenarios faster than with traditional methods or natural light sources. This helps to save time and make sure that each scene looks exactly how it was intended to be seen.

Motorzooming is the sin of, well, zooming. No matter how nifty your wide-range, multi-speed, auto- zoom feature may be, the fact is that on-screen zooms are a dull waste of viewer time and professionals don’t use them except in two circumstances: Real-time coverage like news and sports, when the need to keep an image on the screen mandates zooming between compositions. Situations that require a progressive revelation of the image: The dark figure at the door pulls a sinister tool from her pocket. We zoom in to reveal that it is… her door key! If you have a zoom lens, zooming is inescapable because it’s the only way to change image size without physically moving forward or back. But plan your shots to eliminate these zooms. If editing in the camera, zoom to recompose your image between shots. If you’re going to edit your footage later, zoom as quickly as possible between compositions, knowing that you’ll leave the zooms on the cutting room floor. www.fioreimage.com #FIOREIMAGE #Videographer #SantaFeVideographer #InternationalVideographer #Filmmaker

This is how footage ACTUALLY comes out of camera. Well kind of. This is a “LOG” format which makes the image flat. Us as filmmakers (or even colorists) go back in and add colors to best fit the image. You might ask why do you want to go back and add colors when it’s already there? Well 1. Because it’s cool And 2. It helps you achieve certain colors and change colors.

TADA!!! Creation is my fourth macro short film is out now The beginning. The Big Bang. The birth of a new star and the collapse of a galaxy. Supernova explosions and deep space clusters. Creation Exploration of a macro cosmos is a theme for this short film. The ink and glitter make the compositions like the outer space and I love to dive into that. I started that journey in my previous film called Velocity and continue the journey in this one. I implemented new techniques and new materials including the magnets and different liquids and inks. A total of 12 hours of footage was captured for this film and only less than 1% of best shoots were used in edit. As usual, the big role in this project was played by an amazing set designer Luidmila Tregub, who spent countless hours creating the right mixture of the different inks, alcohol, soaps, etc, which not only looked amazing but also provided the correct motion of the substance. This film would never be possible without her. I used Canon EOS R5, shooting 8K RAW, which allowed me to have more creative freedom to color correct and grade the final film. Irix 150mm macro lens f/2.8 was used on this project allowing me to shoot awesome bokeh and sharp center. Because footages were shot in 12-bit RAW it was possible to successfully use it to create HDR and Dolby Vision film versions. It is my first « HDR-first grading approach » and I did not even create an SDR version of it. The process of creating HDR was a bit difficult since there were not much of clear directions not the exact instructions to successfully follow the process. However, it was a fun challenge and I think the result speaks for itself. Technical Details: Camera: Canon EOS R5 Lens: Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Post Production: Davinci Resolve 18, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop Set designer: Ludmila Tregub Soundtrack licensed on MusicBed For licensing part of the whole film contact me directly at www.vadim.video #art #liquidart #macro #liquid #macrofilm #shortfilm #film #macroroom #cosmos #space #paint #ink #glitter #hdr #vibrance #colorgrading #fluidart #dolbyvision

Green screen technology, also known as chroma key, enables video editors to substitute a single colored backdrop typically green with a different image or video. Imagine it as a magical window that allows you to change the background even after the video has been recorded. Recording: The individual or item is filmed against a vibrant green backdrop. Modification: Special software is able to identify the green color and eliminate it, resulting in only the subject remaining. Substitute the empty background with your choice: another video, a cityscape, or an outer space scene! What is the reason for choosing green? It is uncommon to find green in skin tones or clothing, making it simpler to separate. It functions effectively in different lighting situations. #chromakey #greenscreen #VideoEditing #VisualEffects #VFX #ContentCreation #EditingTools #VideoProduction #PostProduction #CinematicEffects #BroadcastTechnology #CreativeContent #Technology #ColorCorrection #ChrishalColambage
