Thrilled to announce our latest publication! 🧠 "DetSegDiff: A Joint Periodontal Landmark Detection and Segmentation in Intraoral Ultrasound Using Edge-Enhanced Diffusion-Based Network" 🦷 Published in Computers in Biology and Medicine. Our team has developed DetSegDiff, an innovative diffusion-based deep learning network designed for simultaneous detection of periodontal landmarks (like the cemento-enamel junction) and segmentation of alveolar bone structure using intraoral ultrasound (IUS) 🔍 Key Highlights: Edge-Enhanced Feature Encoder: Sharpening focus on critical structural boundaries. Spatial Squeeze-Attention Mechanism: Improving feature extraction and segmentation accuracy. I am happy to share our most recent second research article in Robotic Surgery titled "Stakeholder perspectives on scaling robotic surgery in India: qualitative study," in the esteemed Journal of Robotic Surgery, among the best Q1 Journal list. In this comprehensive study, robotic surgeons, nurses, and insurance staff generously shared their invaluable experiences, shedding light on the crucial aspects of scaling robotic surgery.
