This project will support Koncernas ACHEMOS GRUPĖ's sustainability goals and will contribute to regional renewable energy efforts. Dr Velibor Marjanovic, Member of the Management Board of KfW IPEX-Bank, says: "Our aim is to support the transformation of the economy and society worldwide. With our contribution, we are supporting our customer, the Achemos Group, in the conversion of its energy supply and are once again emphasising our commitment to supporting the energy transition in Europe.” The wind farm in Pagegiai is expected to go into operation by 2026. It's with great excitement that we share the news of obtaining the construction permit for our 66 MW Frumusita #wind farm in Romania. Frumusita wind farm, located in Galați County is planned to become operational by the end of 2025. The wind farm will integrate a total of 11 wind turbines that will supply clean, #renewable #energy to approximately 62.000 households. "This is an important project for increasing our renewable energy capacity. The wind farm in Galați County will significantly contribute to our sustainability goals and to reducing carbon emissions. By the end of 2025, the building permits granted to Eurowind Energy projects in Romania will cover 450 MW, thus supporting the mitigation of environmental problems globally and the development of local communities, said Adrian Dobre, Country Manager Eurowind Energy Romania. Our strategic plan at the local level aims to build classic on-grid projects, prepare storage solutions, hybridization and establish large-scale energy centers. Nordex Business Day Balkans The Balkan wind markets are gaining momentum as the Balkan States demonstrate their commitment to increasing renewable energy within their energy mix through auctions and ambitious targets. HYBRID WORKING: An agreement has been signed for a new wind-solar farm off the Italian coast. SolarDuck, Green Arrow Capital and New Developments s.r.l. have joined forces for 540 MW Corigliano, Calabria Milestone project. It will be located in the gulf of Taranto off the coast of Corigliano-Rossano in Calabria with 28 floating wind turbines for a wind capacity of 420 MWp in addition to a 120 MWp OFPV farm. The OFPV farm alone will generate more than 160GWh of solar energy per year. It's an interesting concept that could minimise the environmental impact of such installations and potentially drive efficiencies in the overhaul, maintenance and repair of such platforms as well as the supply of energy. 🌍 Serbia Powers Forward with Renewable Energy! 🌞 Serbia has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Hyundai Engineering and UGT Renewables to develop 1 GW of solar power plants, paired with up to 200 MW/400 MWh of battery storage! ⚡ This major renewable energy initiative underscores Serbia’s commitment to clean, sustainable power and energy independence. Credit article to reNEWS - Renewable Energy News. Eurowind Energy has signed a €65m credit facility for the construction of a 48MW wind farm in Romania. The credit facility for the Pecineaga wind farm is with Erste Group Bank and its Romanian subsidiary Banca Comerciala Romana, which are jointly financing the investment loan, with each contributing €32.66m. The credit facility matures by the end of 2040 and covers 70% of the total development costs of the Pecineaga park. In addition, the two banks are providing Eurowind Energy with a package worth €18m, including a VAT facility and other products dedicated to supporting the Pecineaga project. Pecineaga wind farm is scheduled to become operational in the first quarter of 2025 and involves a total investment of €93m.
